Finally had my encounter with bowie knife99, though it seem that his RX-7's livery has given up on him.

Hopefully this will see an end to my endless laundry lists of complaints but I'm in no way serious about deleting my drift cars.

Only a crazy person would even consider wiping out a big chunk of their garage because they didn't like the way the cars are handled in the game.

If that's the route you are heading to, change your final drive ratio all the way to the right before you enter the race, change it back to your original setting once you are in the race menu then you can take over all cars within a couple of seconds, even if you're in unbeatable difficulty.
 
What I don't understand in FH5 and FH6 is how certain racing disciplines are much harder than others, even on the same difficulty. For example, Circuit racing, Sprint racing and Cross-Country Racing (excluding buggies, pickups etc) are fine.
But then, you choose Street Racing or Cross-Country with buggies, ATVs, jeeps etc) and suddenly you're struggling to keep in midfield, even with your foot firmly to the floor.
Wtf is up with this??
The only real option is to change the difficulty settings but then, if you go too far in the other direction, it becomes too easy...
 
Well, I did some (un)scientific research with the Goliath and the difficulty level. If you drop it to novice, you will take 1st place early and you don't have to worry, after 1/3 of the race you won't even pick up the AI cars in the radar.

But, if you bump it to average then there is a complete change in their behavior that is almost exponential: They become more aggressive and bump into you, they take perfect lines and, this is the most aggravating part, they have unexplicable bursts of speed, even in mid corner (!), and even if you manage to take 1st place, the car behind will become an invincible alien that will just power ahead after it catches you.

I may probably abstain from the major races until the difficulty levels are corrected.

Forza is one of Microsofts flagship franchises though. But Matt Booty did mention Forza Horizon 6 when he was talking about what they already launched this year. Still they should have announced something post launch related.

There's no reason to. You don't start announcing content less than 2 weeks post-launch. The game isn't desperate for players & you run the risk of debate that content was held back.


It was just Fable as predicted.

Have you tried The Gauntlet? It didn't give me any problems on Expert level. I think the only ones I had to run on Highly Skilled were Colossus and Goliath.

The game just came out. Chill.

Anyway.

Just changed the audio mix from default to music focus and it changes the entire vibe for me.
Brings it much closer to the default audio mix in FH5 and I vastly prefer it that way.

For some reason they decided to bury the music in FH6 a bit.

Season 2 it will be only a little content (we allready know that the exclusive cars are the Leichtbau, the AMG GT R, SRT10, Rallye Golf MKII and Cerbera Speed Twelve) the real show and unexpected surprises starts in S3, when we got also the Italian Car Pack (14th of July IIRC)

Did you watch either of those videos before posting them? The 30-second one says "leakers" and the one that isn't 30 seconds long says it's rumours from "pretty much a lot of people on Reddit".

"Leaked" is, in both cases, a lie to get clicks. Which you're now giving them by sharing without any critical examination at all.

For reference, I watched neither. I just read the transcripts so they don't even get my click.

I watched them yes. And this place does have data miners which is why I shared it. Maybe they know the original source.

If they did, they likely would've shared it by now since the data miners here are just as on top of the game as anywhere else. The difference is, the individuals here aren't doing it for views & are quick to disclose that none of what they find is a guarantee it'll ever be in the game.

Yeah, I ended up reducing the difficulty on Festival Chase just to be able to have a chance and win.

Mitch is a well known hacker that sells hacked accounts and is a vast fountain of misinformation and rumors. Not worth watching or supporting.

I've reported him before, and yet, for some reason Microsoft lets him continue to do what he does with 0 consequence.

Mario Kart World is in desperate need of new content... Not Forza Horizon 6.

Anyway, I think the big kicker with this game is the progression and rewards system. It's one of the best in ANY game, let alone one which centres around cars. There is every reason to believe that Forza Horizon 6 will be nominated for game of the year outright because it's one of the most complete we have seen. The amount of stuff to do is incredible... makes Mario Kart World look like absolute trash.
