The Cherry Blossom tree comes with a nice traditional trunk.

Very circular in nature, with a bark like crust. Depending on when you find one in its life cycle, the trunk can be quite calming to encase in your outstretched arms.

Huh. I’m trying to do the weekly speed trap (160 mph in an A-class Japanese car), and my Acura RSX isn’t Japanese enough. It’s classified as American.

Did the same thing but was fine with the Honda NSX.

There is the sensible route where you can take a ramp on the left corner of the rooftop that will get you to that ledge without the need of further acrobatics. But apparently we Neanderthals prefer the "see treasure, jump on top of it approach". Also, I had the biggest jumpscare when the glass panels shattered.

Yeah those glass panels were surprisingly loud, especially compared to other smashables.

With online and drift challenges both present in the spring playlist I wouldn't've pegged doing the Shibuya shuffle to get 160mph on the speed trap to be the most annoying. Rewind, selectah!

I oak'd to know better by now really.

If we keep at this we're gonna be really "un-poplar" with the mods (and everyone under the age of fifty).

I've done them all already but some take a while for the notification to come up. Keep an eye on the list to see if any have popped without you noticing. Which ones do you still need to do?

When I used the uniform with your livery on one of the time attack tracks the other drivers kept stopping to go into photo mode as I went past. It's a shame you couldn't fit the swirl in as you had to leave room for the sponsors but the colours and fonts are spot on.

I found the Shibuya crossing speed zone so annoying and it took several tries because of dodging traffic which came out of nowhere, i barely scraped it in the end and got 160.27mph and right after I rammed in to traffic cars in a rage!

I found the treasure hunt easy because of Stevio's YT vid and I managed to get it first time, I go the clean skills stuff in the spec racing done easy as well.

It was a lot more satisfying for me to find the chest without watching a video first. Hints are for quitters, lol.

This Ford Mustang Dark Horse really lived up to its name on the Highway Circuit in the muscle car Hitting The Highway challenge as it was behind HokiHoshi for 98% of the race and only caught up with seconds to spare even with taking the upper route which may or may not be shorter.

It took me three tries to win Irakawa on Expert and the console locked up after the third one which was what @Famine likes to refer to "a bit of a puckerer". Fortunately the result was still registered after restarting the game.

For the C-class Instant Classic street race championship I'm going to try using the Fanta Sports 800 (that @KILLER2JZ generously provided me with a code for) in anger for the first time. I hope it won't fizz-le out and the MC12 reward "pop"-s for me since I'm finding the opposition soda-mn hard at this level, heh heh heh.

Abject apologies for being "that guy", but I find a restart normally solves a lot of my problems with the game. Perhaps the points'll pop on re-entry?

Judging by my experience from the RakuRaku delivery missions it's always been that crowded in that part of town.

For the C-class Instant Classic street race championship I'm going to try using the Fanta Sports 800 (that @KILLER2JZ generously provided me with a code for) in anger for the first time.

For the first race I ended up taking most of the turns sideways for some reason and employing a somewhat liberal approach in handling the checkpoints but still managed to clinch P1 following the rush to the finish line. It's a great little car.

For the final seasonal championship Spring Into Action (B-class Pickups and 4x4s) Cross Country it looks like the 2024 Ram 1500 TRX required for the four-part Weekly Challenge (né #Forzathon) is up to the job.

Finally got all PRs done and dusted. Instead of dozens of attempts in Winter, I literally one-shot the last two drift zones in Spring. The extra width really helped.

That did it. Also, I enthusiastically endorse this tune you’ve been talking about for drift zones. I needed another wheelspin for one of the dailies, so I decided to try ✪✪✪ing the last six drift zones. I gave that tune a try and it was like magic. Just amazing

@breeminator deserves all the credit for highlighting it on this thread. And his tip about disabling traction control, enabling stability management and locking the car in manual third gear also made drifting way easier, despite my ignorant griping about it earlier.

The third gear tip appears to work for other drift tunes too so I was able to ace this week's zone in the Silvia '98 that I'm pretty sure showed up as one of the playlist prizes, using this low HP tune by SwintGaming (share code: 173 400 680).

The Livery was done by @PJTierney and it fits both the Box Truck and Drift Van widebody kits without any visual hiccups. 😉👍

I forgot about the third gear tip. Because I’m a Filthy Casual™️, I kept it in automatic and it was still super easy. And thank you, @breeminator. This tune worked a treat.

Haven't played a Forza for some time. Is it possible to minimize/turn of the permanent racing line/navigation and still notice where you have to go in races and free roam? I find the line a bit to intrusive.

The options are full racing line, corners only racing line, and no racing line. I use corners only.

The mini map highlights your route with a blue line, and you can just follow that. Or, select autodrive from the ANNA menu on the D-pad and it will autodrive you to that destination. Pressing the LB button in autodrive activates a cinematic camera that pans and jockeys around your car until you press a button or it arrives there.
