Yeah there's something seriously wrong with the Colossus. The AI wil always find a way to beat you, no matter what car you have. The lap time descrepency amongst cars with "900" PI is ridiculous and unlike any other event so it begs the question - why? I shouldn't have to turn down the difficulty to complete the event. Oddly enough, I was able to finish 2nd in my 918 on my first attempt, missing out on the win by 0.1 seconds. The time was a 6:48. That would be as close as I got to winning, despite going faster in subsequent attempts with the Venom F5 and Agera RS. What a load of rubbish.I've seen some insane examples of rubber-banding/enhanced racing AI over the years (NFSU1, Motorstorm Pacific Rift to name two in particular) but yesterday I attempted the Colossus... I gave it 2 attempts before throwing in the towel and sticking it on Tourist just to get it over with, I genuinely think that took the cake as the worst I've ever raced against!
Opposition constantly running 15-20mph faster regardless of setup used but going through corners like they're running on super slick tyres and maximum downforce is absolutely unhinged. Apparently the AI sets its speed based on your car when entering the event, so if you go in with really short gears then reset them before starting the race it should be a doddle (regardless of difficulty) but I've not tested that myself.

As seen in my post above I'm using the heart. It took by far the longest to obtain out of all the badges I own so it feels earned.
A sign that Bugatti could come back in the future.
Maybe you should try using an Abarth? It's much easier.
Find someone on here I'm sure plenty of people on here have the trolli peel and just join a session with them to get the photo I'm sure someone will help if you can't find someone online 🙂
Oh OK, I thought maybe it was due to playing the game early and it just worked out that way.
Yeah, having got the latest PL out of the way, it was nice being able to just drive around and come across events organically again, like the first week. I, too, felt rushed and wish they had pushed the first PL back. Still, I'm embracing this one, instead of trying to fight it. The map makes it the best so far for me. (Never played 2 and 3).

This could literally be a game changer for me. I was going to set up a four-slot garage and snap them all four by four but potentially I can create twelve-car races in Custom Race by choosing custom theme and triple my work rate. It shouldn't even need EventLab.
