Talking of which, I got a popup saying @Populuxe beat my time at Sotoyama Scramble with an Opel Manta 400 and it was a really good run. It took a few laps to get ahead of him in the same car. Guess I'm going to be doing B class Dirt Rivals again today.
It took me fifteen ✪✪✪✪✪✪✪ laps to finally beat your Beat. It was that double 90° right hand hairpin on the south end of the circuit that kept doing me in. I’d be leading up to that point, but your Beat would zip around those two corners like a dog with the zoomies while my Opel negotiated it with all the stateliness of an ocean cruise ship serving dinner.

Apologies. I bet you were beat after finally beating that Beats By Dre Beat although I bet the boatload (or beatload) of credits you amassed along the way came in handy. I've seen a few comments on YouTube and reddit demanding Playground nerf the Honda which I guess is a surefire indication that it's a good 'un, so I figured, with so many people using it to set leaderboard times, that if I couldn't beat them I may as well join them.

Believe me, I no more intended for the game to turn my drivatar into some kind of humblebragging Temu version of bowie knife99 than I did for it to transform me into a competent drifter or avid online racer, neither of which I had any interest in whatsoever in FH4 or 5. I place the blame squarely on Torben's cunning strategies to increase player engagement. Replacing the out of the way Accolades spreadsheet with a front and centre Collection Journal was a stroke of evil genius.

I'd also like to tip my hat to Amy Simpson and her mum for curating a list of songs on Pulse that can be listened to over and over again without any of them becoming really irritating. Some of the other stations have one song which makes me want to twist the radio dial to something else after a while.
Also, the R35 has an insanely tall reverse gear. If you're able to keep the car straight, you can exceed 250 MPH in reverse, which is kinda fun.
Sounds like it'd make an interesting Bowie themed EventLab Challenge to have the player do one of the game's many Danger Signs in reverse gear with the Nissan FE.

My suggestion for the title? "Up The Hill Backwards".
Considering @PJ only has twenty-six liveries in his storefront this is an even more remarkable achievement. As with his slimmed down garage his username appears to be a byword for quality over quantity.

I just did two Stunt Parties in the same hour. The first one, a chaos party, only took six minutes to complete all three rounds. Because of the ten minute sign up period, I was able to sign up for a second stunt party. And then I did it again the next hour, completing two drift parties. And then I did it again the next hour, completing two speed parties. I earned 660,000 credits and three wheel spins, which netted me two more cars I didn’t already have and an additional 10,000 credits. Not bad for about 45 minutes work spread over a little over two hours.

A couple of preview edits I made as part of a fun little project.

I still don’t get why they didn’t do a Bullet train vs GTR showcase event.

The train showcases are a series staple, and it would’ve been a cool nod.

Oh well, hoping they’ll add one in the future, cause I didn’t really like Rushes.

I'm not sure but I think they'd've had to nerf a 200mph train to make a challenge playable in anything less than R class which would have been a bit of a crashfest for a large section of the player base. They don't have full licensing for the train anyway as your video pointed out. 🤷🏽‍♂
I dunno, but somehow I doubt it'd go down well from a PR standpoint if your car were allowed to beat it.

If they'd had the train break down at the end like the robot does I suspect there'd be hell to pay from our Japanese hosts.

I always try to double dip if I can at the top of the hour if I'm not too busy doing something else to miss the first call. At the reduced rate we earn money in the game compared with previous instalments the amount seems just about worth it for the effort involved and it's very difficult for antisocial weirdos to mess up, unlike Trials and Touge Showdowns. Theoretically it's possible to make over a million credits in under an hour's play spread over just over four hours.

According to some of the farmbro videos, sending a car around one of the time attack courses apparently makes over a million credits an hour, but to me it's waaaayyyy more boring and ties up your game so you can't play it, so it's really only for people who are desperate for quick cash imo.
My own money making wheeze curerntly involves doing two Stunt Parties every hour. It may not turn me into a gajillionaire but it's way more fun than spamming the Eliminator.

Me: Outside of drifting I can't drive the car in chase cam... the viewpoint is too different to what you'd experience in real life
