I just noticed that Fanatec added an official game profile for FH6 in the pc app, I don't think that was available for the previous game. That just goes to show how much more seriously they're taking wheel support this time around.

I'm still loving it on a wheel. I stay away from online racing though, I would rather do f1 open lobbies. I just really wish we had a realistic assists option, not because I want to be a hero or anything, it would be a huge QOL improvement.

Just finished my first challenge. A nod to both Crazy Taxi and Need For Speed Most Wanted, your goal is to transport the customer and their fragile cargo to the airport before their flight departs. Can you get there in under 2 minutes and 48 seconds? Please stick to the roads; Unfortunately I couldn't find any way to prohibit offroad travel.

There is Challenge maps that let you drive unreleased Car Pass cars like the 808 or GR Corolla or Skyline GT-R Autech Version 40th Anniversary. These are useful for Horizon Promo.

Far as I'm concerned the music slider should go up to eleven. Having a non-surround setup I can barely hear it over the deafening car audio unless I turn everything else down.

It's hardly a debacle of any description, though.

That's the issue bud: your sound setup. Invest in a good surround sound setup and everything will come out right. Still, they cheaped out a bit on the car audio in terms of loudness and decibels.

Sorry but I haven't the room to set up another five speakers as my games room doubles as a guest room.

I'm not sure how much louder the car sound could be. I don't think it's everyone's priority in a music based game.
 
It appears the constant disconnects have returned for me. It’s weird. Some days they don’t appear at all. Some days it’s nothing but disconnects. The frustrating thing is when it’s happening, I can’t take part in any online activities like Stunt Parties or Horizon Play.

Even though I love the game a lot, I can’t say I disagree with anything he said. 😅

Congrats! If you needed top 1% scores to beat me, then I'm happy I'm doing okay. You may want to add more challenging opponents than me to your friends list if you still need to push yourself.

Not sure his channel is worth a click but since you watched the video... did he think it was worth a buy or was he one of those guys who thinks a game designed for a majority of players to enjoy wasn't grindy and unforgiving enough? Can't believe he'd complain about features included to assist disabled users in the title.

I read that at the start of one of his reviews he complained that he had to take a week off gaming for high blood pressure. Talk about suffering for your art.

You can pick your pronouns and there are prosthetic limbs and hearing aids. That’s all these idiots need to cry, “woke”.

What a pathetic life one lives when “he/her/they” prevents them from playing a good game. At least the community/game won’t be infested with such weakness.

Knowing how that word is thrown around nowadays it probably means you can play as character with skin pigment, or give your male character a woman's voice, or it highlights another culture in a way that doesn't punch down at them.

It's pathetic that people are joining these cults to begin with when their actual enemies aren't minority groups but rather the rich. I heard it's possible to deprogram people from cults though. I'm not buying into this propaganda as it's nonsense anyway. And I'm not watching it since it's from a right winger.

I also saw people complaining that you couldn't put slurs as your license plate (who would've guessed a game rated E wouldn't allow that) as well as the body types.

People are complaining about "woke" for a game where you spend 95% of the time looking at cars. That's how you know these people want to be mad just to be mad.

The character Keiko is non-binary but it's sort of a blink and you'll miss it detail. I'm pretty sure it's a positive representation, too, since they're a character who comes up with the idea to give a tuned Honda City a 1:1 power-weight ratio.

In my defense, I was an idiot. I didn't pay attention to anything, nor did I test the tune I had just downloaded :lol:
Thankfully we still won the first two races.
 
In the second race I booted one of the AI wide exiting one corner, and it made no attempt to make the next one so missed the gate entirely.

And carried on the rest of the race in 11th.
