Since it’s 2 weeks away till the next update, I would keep my expectations a bit low for the playlist. Series 2’s 40/160 point cars were just recycled from Series 1.

Here’s what I speculate would be added through the playlist.

Series Reward Car (80 points): Ferrari Purosangue (New to Forza)

Season Point Rewards:
  • 1990 Fiat Panda 4x4 (badge textures were spotted in FM23 files icymi, though I think that this can be a possible Car Pass car)
  • 2019 Italdesign DaVinci Concept
  • 2008 Maserati GranTurismo
  • 2019 Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 (Last seen in FM23)

I think there is a high chance that confirmed Ferrari 575M Maranello remodel could end up being a part of Series 3 alongside the Lamborghini Huracán Evo Spyder.

So custom races are now useless even for honest drivers. They reward at max 20,000 with VIP and Max difficulty no matter how long an endurance is. I did a 20-lapper big rally track but nope. 10k XP and Credits.
Yeah, I don't think I will be doing custom eventlab races anytime soon. Even the 100k cap in FH5 was ridiculous.

Yeah, the Goliath is now the only game in town for credit grinding. I got 250,000 credits from my first run of it, but I've been focusing on the Playlist so I haven't run it in a while.

I honestly cannot believe we lost over 300 cars from 5 but if they bring them back I hope some of them will be in the Autoshow.
I seriously doubt that. Usually new additions remain Festival Playlist exclusives. Maybe some of them will appear on the Aftermarket at some point, or in some kind of Forzathon shop, or will be made available through some kind of Backstage, but I would we surprised to see them in the Autoshow.

I dont understand why they dont just use the Festival Playlist for cars that are new to Forza and cars we have not seen in a really long time and use the Autoshow for cars that make common appearances in many titles but arent in 6 right now? It makes so much more sense to do it that way. Or at least do it on some of them as the Autoshow should get new additions as well outside of DLCs.

I suspect they simply don't have enough new cars for it, so in FH6 they are forced to hold back a huge number of models from FH4 and FH5 in order to gradually use them as "exclusive" rewards in the Festival Playlists.

They have more than enough cars for it. And like I said it doesnt all need to be New to Forza cars either so if they are going to put returning cars in it they should focus on these we havent seen in a really long time.

I was messing around with the AMG GT Black Series and found out that if you swap in the AMG One's engine and do full weight reduction, it drops down to 1885lbs/855kg... that seems broken to me. But then again there's some weird upgrade combos on some cars (like the 2JZ swap in the Beat, the real life 2JZ/V160 combo is probably longer than the Beat itself ) so maybe it's supposed to be.

855 kg for a modern GT? Thats crazy. Was it on the normal one or the Welcome Pack?

I think Microsoft has cut the budget for Xbox, and PG has shifted most of its resources to Fable. This has made it harder than ever for them to add new cars. Meanwhile, reusing vehicles from FH4 and FH5 helps keep players engaged online.

The Fable team has completely different people in it. The main Rossmore House Team that makes Forza Horizon is still their flagship main studio.

And a lot of people were not happy when they brought back a lot of cars from Forza Horizon 4 and older titles into the Festival Playlist in Forza Horizon 5. I hope they at least put some or maybe all of them into the Autoshow. I think it will make a lot of people happy. The Festival Playlist should only have New to Forza or New to Horizon cars or cars we havent seen in a really long time.

Adding New to Forza cars is just as hard as it has always been. And Forza Horizon 6 is a big money maker for Microsoft which is why I expect the next updates to be bangers.

The budget cut mainly affected studios that were not profitable enough.

I just triple-dipped on a Speed Stunt Party, my first ever triple-dip. It only took twelve minutes. My weapon of choice was my rally-prepped Ultima. I use it for everything except drifting. I use my Abarth for that.

I did the same thing yesterday. It too was on a speed stunt party. I was happy finishing my second stint, when the game told me again if I wanted to join the stunt party. Fast travelled there and got in with 10 seconds to spare 😅 This is not gonna happen with a drift or wreckage stunt party though...

It's also worth noting that, considering how they made the 2010 Z34 a Playlist car despite it still having an old model, they can still use old car models to pad out the roster if need be. They don't really have a drought of cars to add, since they can do things like adding in their old Evo VI, or bringing in the 2.0-liter S13 using its old model.

I think new scans are certainly the priority--the Ram is a new model, after all, and if we do get the Maranello next series it absolutely will use its new model--but don't be surprised if returning cars from their time period use janky models just because.

They should have used a New to Forza variant instead like a 370Z Roadster/Fairlady Z Z34 Roadster. Adding cars to the Festival Playlist that were in many other Forza games just isnt going to make most people happy and we saw this in Forza Horizon 5 and people were mad.

I just dont understand why they dont just put them into the Autoshow. The Festival Playlist would be so much better if it only had New to Forza cars and cars we have not seen in a really long time.

But I still have hopes for the games future but there is definitely some things they need to change.

Spec racing is the gfit that keeps on giving. I had a fantastic race in the G82 M4 around the Electric City Circuit, passing and re-passing my opposition with a little bit of door banging. At one point there were five cars under a blanket! I managed to win the race after getting a small lead, which I suppose is retribution after being bumped out of a win the other day. Honestly, the online racing in this game is great and Gran Turismo could really learn a lot from it if they really cared.

There's also the 360 Challenge from the Cars Who might be rescanned, i Remember that was an Old Model, and the absence of this Ferrari in game makes me think about a possibile rescan.
Also for the infamous R32 MKIV and others too.

I don't have huge expectations for S3, but the possibilty of some italian returning Cars from FH5 for me It's okay (looking at you, Fulvia, I miss my Little Lancia).

One thing that baffles me is the absence of The Marathon in FH6...so I made my own. Locked to Upgrade Heroes tuned to S1 800 max, this route has a nice balance of speed, agility, and split-second reactions. Can you brave the slick tarmac in the dead of night? Race ends in the Daikoku Car Meet parking lot.

Did the Ram SRT-10 end up in Modern M

I feel like the Marathon would be an easy route to make. Just connect all the Touge routes and set the time to sunset. I'm sure they have their reasons though
