My game has a tendency to get stuck at the intro music scene if I quit and restart so I pretty much gave up on the Exotic dealership and have just been buying the cars from the Auction House. If it gets stuck I have to restart my console and even that didn’t work one time so I turned off and unplugged my console and finally that did the trick and I haven’t had to do that again so far.

The only good thing is that those cars are going for quite a bit less in the AH now that the dealership exists but they’re still ridiculously expensive. I found a buyout for the Sesto for 7 million but I have seen buyouts as low as 5 million and I managed to win an auction for the 288 for 5.7 million. I got a Diablo GTR for only 13k the other day so I have enough of those. I’ve seen Aventadors with 3 million buyouts so that’s probably up next and the F8 is going to be last. Not like I have many other things to do in the game other than buy more of the cars I like anyway…

Maybe it's a regional thing, but the only time my game ever gets as crowded as your photo is at Stunt Parties. Only about three at most player cars show up simultaneously for me at Italian Exotics.

It seems to me it’s always busiest right after a Stunt Party. You’ll notice there’s a Huayra BC at the dealership. I need less than 200k Cr. I’ll be able to grab it right after the next Stunt Party.

I finally completed Promo.

Although it's never really completed, because the finish line keeps getting further away from us as if it were on wheels in that Jamiroquai video.

I’m genuinely impressed. I thought my list of needed Promo Photos was getting smaller, until I caught a Zonda Cinque Roadster in the wild and remembered I need to update my list with the new cars.

Well, about 15 minutes ago I restarted the game and got stuck on the loading screen with intro video. So, I got bored with it and manually quit the game, and then restarted.

Here's where it goes from bad to worse. It gets stuck on the loading screen for a few minutes again, and then......POOF. The power just went out in our neighborhood. Oh boy.

I had a similar issue tonight where the game just stayed on a continuous loading screen. Shut it down after a few minutes & will look at it again tomorrow.

Hope your power comes back soon @ykiki.

The infinite loading screen has occurred at least three times for me now since yesterday. I think it happens if you restart the game before it has a chance to update the save on your console.

I've found the quickest way to get the game up and running on console is to delete my local save by selecting FH6 on my home screen and pressing the select button to manage the game.

Scroll down to 'Saved data' and select the larger of the two files which'll be marked with your username. Be very careful to select 'Delete from console', NOT 'Delete everywhere', otherwise you'll wipe out your game progress. This is absolutely crucial.

Next time you start the game there'll be a brief loading screen while it reloads the cloud save. Then it'll start as normal.

PC users have a local save folder on their hard drives which should be deleted if this happens to them but the location differs between Steam and MS Store users. They'll have to research it for themselves as I don't want to give out the wrong advice and cause anyone to accidentally wipe out their game progress.

Thanks @UKMikey & @McLaren I'm hoping the power going out while my Xbox was on won't cause an issue later. Meanwhile, I'll just be patient and go for a real life drive to keep my phone charged. Hopefully the power will be restored by morning and I can give it another try.

It happened to me last time. As I restarted the game over and over again, because of the Italian Exotic Aftermarket. I noticed that when I quit, the game first has to sync from the storage to the cloud and then everything works as it should.

Except for that crazy Italian. 😁 He didn't have any Wheelspin cars for me on XSX. 😭 But I won a Lambo Sesto Elemento and a Ferrari 599XX Evolution from Super Wheelspin. 🎰 Which was lucky. 🍀😍

I know the Miura is in the Autoshow. Think the Pista is too, will double check when I pop on in a wee bit.

I already have the 288 GTO, so no need to get that one. Having said that, it wouldn't be a bad idea to pick it up depending on the price, hold onto it until the dealership expires, and then flip it in the auction house.
I flip the Mazda MX5 FE every time I see it for sale at the Festival. It's still an easy 150,000 profit every time.

I've noticed that a couple of times too. You have to wait for the game to sync before you launch it.

Okay now I'm even more baffled by all this.

I caved, sold off the cars I know I'll get back in this Series, and bought the 2012 Aventador and F8 Tributo on the Auction House with the cheapest listings I could find. Both of these cars are listed as under 400,000 credits. That means, in the rare event that they spawn, they're actually really cheap buys at the Aftermarket dealer. There was no reason to set their spawn chances so low.

Granted, again, my hopeful theory is that this is only because it's the first week of the Series and they kept the chances low this week so folks could focus on getting the really popular Autoshow cars for cheap--I'm not going to spend any more credits on the Auction House in hopes that this is indeed the case. But... man, even after now owning half of the Wheelspin exclusives up for grabs, it feels so incredibly pointless.

EDIT: Okay I lied, I bought a 288 at the AH too. At least that's listed as going for 2.8 million, so the low spawn chances on that car make some small sense, but still.

Ok, an update on a few things...
First, our power was restored (yay!) around 4AM.
Second, once the Xbox was back online with my wifi, I was able to start the game with no issues, which was quite a relief.

Then I thought back to some good things I was able to accomplish over the weekend before the power went out. I really avoid the weekly multi-player tasks after not having a good time with it in previous editions of the game. I know it can be better now, but I figured it'd be better if I just bought a Dino instead of going through the Trial.

I started by going to the Auction House and saw a bunch for sale for around 100,000. Not bad, and a lot cheaper than 370,500 at the Autoshow. However, even though most only had 1 minute to go or less, they all shot up quickly to 300,000 - 400,000. Why someone would pay more than the Autoshow price, I don't know, but they did. Meanwhile, I just happened to get lucky and snagged one for only 80,000!

Then the big accomplishment of the weekend:

I don't think I've ever been in the top 1% of ANYTHING before!

Forza Horizon 6 Series 3 Hotfix 1 (Xbox, Windows PC & Steam)

Version Number:

  • Xbox Series X|S: 403.798
  • Windows PC (Xbox app): 403.798
  • Steam: 403.798
Bug fixes and changes (Available from Jul 20)

Gameplay

  • Fixed an issue with Manual w/Clutch which prevented players from being able to clutch kick whilst drifting and was allowing instant-shifting using handbrake and shift buttons.
  • Fixed an issue where some Horizon Drifting Sessions would end abruptly after starting.

If it's not in the release notes I doubt they're going to go all Oprah Winfrey on us.
Does anyone know if Italian Exotics and their weird spawn cars have been fixed? I'm not home right now and can't check. I don't want to come home from work and be disappointed. 😁

And, to be honest, if the pools really do cycle weekly then I don't see why they would change anything about the way the Italian Exotics dealership works. I've got 4/6 cars now thanks to espying some good buyout deals in the Auction House (just missing the 599 Evo and the Sesto Elemento), and had my own little crashout over it (WHY WOULD YOU SET CARS THAT COST LESS THAN 400,000 CREDITS TO HAVE LESS THAN A HALF PERCENT CHANCE OF SPAWNING?!), but I'm starting to come back around to the idea.

I knuckled under and got my Ferraris from the Auction House. If they show up at the spot, I'll just chalk it down to experience.

I need another 3 mil for a chance at a low buyout Sesto. That's gonna take a lot of Stunt Parties and wheelspins. Meanwhile I'll probably just go through the Rivals events for the payouts and skill points.

Still no luck on my end. The F40C showed up, but I already got that one for 1.4M last month on the Auction House.

I got the Sesto from the Auction House. Checked after the update and it's just the Abarth, Huracán STO, and the Ferrari SF90.

So much for doing a gantlet rally race with my partner. The game crashed on me, and then when I tried to get back into it in hopes that we'd might get a quick one in, it crashed as soon as I got into free roam.

Turning off the system for the night, and it seems like not much has changed now that I'm spending more time playing Horizon again. I'm getting real concerned about this, because if the issue truly does lie in the game pushing consoles too hard, then that's going to leave that portion of the playerbase affected by this up **** Creek without a paddle.

Whatever the issue is, I hope we get more clarification on the matter. It's something that needs to be cleared up.

The game doesn't push the Series X at all. I don't know about the Series S.

I'm on Series X and I'm having a ton of problems with the game crashing. Something clearly has to be causing it and I've already verified on my end it's not the console overheating.

As previously mentioned, I don't use quick resume either.
