I don't get the Auction House. I tried bidding yesterday on a Huracan Evo which had a bid of about 2.6 million. Each time I upped the bid, it told me my bid had failed. Must have tried 7 or 8 times before the countdown marker expired. Was that because the bid put forward by default (I think it was 2.9 million) had already been outbid?

Certainly wasn't going to pay 20 million for it, particularly since this week it's can be obtained for 40 points (a pain but certainly worth it)

Encountered this issue the other day when bidding on some Saleens, but usually collecting my credits and re-bidding would make it work.

So, for some reason the Temerario is really slow in FH6 to me at least especially considering that one it has 907 hp and two in game at least it weighs less than the real car does with the lightweight package on it. Plus having just briefly re watched the Hagerty drag race video featuring a Temerario the in game version in my opinion definitely feels too slow given the stats.

Because personally I was thinking it would be like 918 speed or quicker but nope lol.

Anyone got any thoughts or opinions on this btw?

Yes, this has been happening to quite a few people since the last update. The message is the glitch; you get the car.

I don’t understand why the map doesn’t show all the aftermarket car locations. Why make them a sortable option if you don’t actually show them? So I’ve been using this map, which I believe is up to date. Help yourself if you want or need it.

I succeeded with the Drag race in Irokawa for a while. I have all the OEM cars. Finally managed to push the time under 10:00 seconds with the Lamborghini Sián Roadster. 🚦

Managed to complete all the online portions of the playlist on steam deck today. Two attempts for the trial and three attempts at the eliminator. Trial was mostly fine but finally got some team mates who put up nothing but zeros and didn't leave.

Other players being able to interact with collectibles is still so annoying. Doesn't happen with the Treasure Chests now, I note.

I had that same feeling entirely. One such guy in a BMW M4 Competition got way ahead of me while I was trying to smash one of these collectibles.

They weren't quick enough for me after weeks of tank-smashing improved my reflexes. The Sierra 700R is very manoeuvrable in D-class. Which I guess means I deprived some other poor guy of their lattes.

Alternatively this could be a grab bag update, but... at this point, the 2024 Camaro that's also in the files is a Car Pass car, so I doubt it'll be a Playlist car.

I'm thinking the Nissan NX-2000 or the Honda Accord Aerodeck.

Okay, now that I've gotten my mitts on the Wheelspin exclusive cars the dealership was selling, I now feel like it's safe to drop predictions for Horizon Mascot Party.

First of all, the Evolving World piece. This could be one of two things--either this is our first Horizon Stadium setpiece, with a Time Attack circuit built into it, or we're just getting Shimanoyama Drift Circuit as a time attack venue for next month only. If I had to place bets on anything, it'd be Shimanoyama, but we'll have to wait and see to know for sure.

The cars though... honestly, I can't see this update being anything other than the dreaded (by hypercar-hungry folks) Upgrade Fodder update, focused on quirky Japanese cars and/or low-power historic Japanese icons that couldn't make the jump to FH6 at launch.

We know from the files, for instance, that we're getting the second-gen Toyota Celica. The Celica only got a 100HP engine at maximum; you could make a pretty darn good track build with an engine swap.

Thus, my prediction:

Subaru's range needs to be expanded a bit, and I wouldn't mind an XT/Alcyone, especially the AWD model. You can't get much more quirky and mid '80s than this.

The Alcyone would be a great shout, yeah! Heck, the 360 itself would fit right in with the others if this is indeed a Japanese automotive history update; the N600 was Honda's first car in the United States, after all.

Honestly, I also thought of the successors to the AE86 right after I finished that prediction; the AE92 and AE111 would fit right in with this update. You'd have to get the right flavor of AE92, since the AE92 Sprinter still has pop-up headlights, but either one would be fantastic now that we have the modern-day Corolla.

I wonder if this implies we'll be getting the Temerario Alleggerita itself in a future update. Lambo and PG have a good relationship, so it wouldn't surprise me.

The title of the Series (and the blogpost) implies it's going to celebrate the regional mascots, but I also take it to mean 'quirky Japanese cars' in the update because of the '74 Celica and N600 being in the files. The 360 would still fit right in with that.

My guess is some of the more oddball cars that became mainstays that missed the release cut. GMC Vandura, Holden Sandman, Morris Minor, and Ford Anglia all feel like they are noticably missing.
