Okay, now that I've gotten my mitts on the Wheelspin exclusive cars the dealership was selling, I now feel like it's safe to drop predictions for Horizon Mascot Party.

First of all, the Evolving World piece. This could be one of two things--either this is our first Horizon Stadium setpiece, with a Time Attack circuit built into it, or we're just getting Shimanoyama Drift Circuit as a time attack venue for next month only. If I had to place bets on anything, it'd be Shimanoyama, but we'll have to wait and see to know for sure.

The cars though... honestly, I can't see this update being anything other than the dreaded (by hypercar-hungry folks) Upgrade Fodder update, focused on quirky Japanese cars and/or low-power historic Japanese icons that couldn't make the jump to FH6 at launch.

We know from the files, for instance, that we're getting the second-gen Toyota Celica. The Celica only got a 100HP engine at maximum; you could make a pretty darn good track build with an engine swap.

Thus, my prediction:

Reward Theme: Historic Japanese Icons

Series Reward: 1974 Toyota Celica (A40) (New-to-Forza)
Summer: 1970 Honda N600 (New-to-Forza)
Autumn: 1988 Mitsubishi Starion (returning)
Winter: 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR (returning with old model)
Spring: Quirky mid-80s Japanese car, I actually can't think of anything to fill this since we're getting the ZGT in the Car Pass

Alternatively this could be a grab bag update, but... at this point, the 2024 Camaro that's also in the files is a Car Pass car, so I doubt it'll be a Playlist car.
The only exclusive ive seen has bern the 599XX Evo.I log on everyday in the hope of getting one but just unlucky I guess.
Im not restarting the game over and over to get them to change,i'll keep my eye on the ah.

Part of me wonders if the 99 Lancer is just for engine swap purposes for the Starion. We shall see.

Was the DeTomaso ever leaked or was it just pulled from FM23 without any previous mention in the files? I don't think it was ever seen in the XMLs like the other cars. Maybe that's how the 97 Mark II gets in.

Or maybe they just say "screw it" and give us the rest of the missing Japanese cars as 80 and 160 pt rewards lol

The DeTomaso was leaked, IIRC. I forget if we found out because it was in the credits or otherwise, but we DID know it was coming.

Kimera, Spyker, NILU, INEOS Grenadier and Kia are in the Credits too.
Kimera's a big question mark for me, though, considering the o.g. 037 is coming back next week. Obviously it's a different car (technically) but I imagine it would be greeted with confusion if it actually showed up.

EDIT: The K39, on the other hand...

I think we'll see the Kimera cars show up at some point, ie the Evo 37 and 38 mainly because they look different enough from the og 037 imo, plus they have very different driving characteristics from what I've heard/seen from videos. Plus it'd be cool to get more restomods in the game 😀. Also yeah the K39 is noticeably different lol.

I wanted to get a second Temerario and had over 11 million credits but eventually realized that I wouldn’t find one for that cheap soon. I contemplated selling a duplicate of one of my valuable cars that I like then it occurred to me that if I sold my only one of a wheel spin exclusive car that I didn’t like that I would eventually get another from a wheel spin since it’s the only car I don’t have. So I sold a car for 10 million and now I have 2 Temerario’s. One advantage of having every car in my garage.

Horizon Mascot Party to me's all about cute and small JDM cars.

Here are my speculations on the playlist content:

1991 Suzki Cappuccino (Spotlight car)
2003 Suzuki Twin “Pandem Mini R32” (alternate spotlight car)
1974 Toyota Celica GT
1968 Subaru 360 (FM7 Returnee)
1995 Mazda 323 GTR
1995 Honda CR-X Del Sol (FM4 Returnee)

Car pass-wise:
2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
1986 Honda Accord Aero Deck
1992 Nissan NX-2000
2002 Toyota MR-S

Some returning ones who fits the speculations of the 4th Season:

From FH5
1992 Mazda 323 GT-R
1998 Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R
1974 Toyota Celica GT
(The A40 it's not a New To Forza Car, there's also in FH3 and FH5)

From FM 2023
1997 Toyota Mark II Tourer V JZX100

From FH3/FH4/FM7
2018 Honda Odyssey
2000 Honda Prelude
1967 Nissan R380 II
1966 Nissan Silvia

From FM4
1994 Honda Civic (EG)
1995 Honda CR-X Del Sol
2011 Nissan Micra (But if they put a March/Micra much better to add the 2007 March 12SR IMHO)
1984 Toyota Celica Supra
2002 Toyota MR-S

I'm Still Waiting for Daihatsu and Suzuki BTW.
These are great predictions too! Honestly, I think it's hard to go wrong with whatever you throw in, since it's still early days.

I think the A40 Celica's probably the safest possible Playlist Car pick for this Series, though I doubt it'd be the Headline Car at this point since y'all are right, it's a returning car. The N600 feels like it'd be a better pick in that case. But I'm excited to see where this all goes.

The Hospital Records soundtrack was officially released yesterday on Spotify and other streaming/download services.

I wish they'd do the other stations or at least Gacha City as well although I have a good chunk of the tracks already by now. This game has done so much to broaden my musical horiz... ah, you know what I mean.

Skyline Fever It's a Banger.
Man, i love MAKOTO's songs, perfectly fitting in a Racing Game.

Gacha City Radio had me hooked since day one.

I was doing a Stunt Party today, and was first to a danger sign. (I mean, that Ultima is seriously fast. Also, the two cars ahead of me both over-cooked it and veered into the trees before they hit the jump.) I made the jump and it told me my jump was 1,001 feet. Then it said the group progress was 1,000 feet. I have no idea why the numbers were different.

Who jumped backwards??? 😆

Sub Pop has been great addition and more my typical taste, but yeah Gacha City Radio just feels right. I like that they’ve added a station that’s purely local to setting, rather than peppering in some local tracks over the than normal festival stations like in the previous games.

My Eliminator Adventures, part II: By sticking to the fringes of the arena, I managed to get to the final round and it was all highway to the finishing line, but I got stuck with the electric Ford Lighting pickup... :banghead:
Me, I'm just a naughty little camper always on the edge of the circle as well 😂😂😂😂.

I finished 7th in the little Honda.

I tried to camp but another City challenged me within seconds of the start.

Too bad for him.

In the end I was wiped out at 26th when the arena contracted too quickly for me to reach the barrier.
