Here's another recommended tunes list from Johnson Racing.

Both he and PJ (and the leaderboards) say that the Shelby Daytona Coupe is the fastest car around Sekibe Scramble in A-class Dirt with rocklxd's tune (105 069 888). I'm not seeing it myself but that's probably a skill issue on my part.

You're better off finding your own way as an auto user, some of those tunes are pointless for us to use because of shift penalty and/or being forced out of the power band, lowering their potential to the point that other cars are simply quicker.

Also they're prone to being a little bit too 'buddies club' sometimes, 5 of the 7 Goliath WR's are currently held by 1 player with him being at #2 in S1 and #7 in D where he's only behind stupid Peels and my own 240SX time, with him having most of those tunes shared, his name isn't in that list once.

I don't mean it in an offensive way but the likes of us aren't ever factored in by that level of player, heck I set a WR with my own Sierra tune in FH5 with it geared specifically to work for auto since the widely used tune caused me issues in one particular corner, and when I went to submit it the first reply I got wasn't a well done or congrats, it was being told to change to manual.

You can usually get both cars without multiplayer if you do all the daily tasks. The second one is usually a repeat or available elsewhere as the playlist exclusives are restricted to the 20-point category or prizes for weekly objectives.
Thanks I know it's not out for the PS5 yet but I wanted to be prepared for when it does it.

Thanks but I'm too lazy to go through every car to find the best one for me or learn to tune or even shift so just want to put the best time in possible with minimum effort. Top 1% is good enough for me. Or it would be since top 5% is frequently all I can manage.

Unfortunately there's no way to discover tunes like yours since the leaderboard doesn't have a download tune option. All I can do with the interface we're given is go by popularity and hope they're not pre-tyre nerf setups which are based around using compounds which no longer give the player an advantage.

I have a question about the festival playlist are able to do enough of it offline to learn get 1 of the available cars? I know right now I can anywhere from 20-28 point in FH5 which is enough to get 1st car prize from the playlist without doing the to trials and the other online compenents

Thus far, the second part is true - and in fact every car in the higher bracket has previously been available for individual events during Series 1 specifically.

However you can only get the lower bracket cars without multiplayer - with the exception of during S1 before The Trial was reintroduced and when the cars were at 15/30pt (Season) and 60/120pt (Series):

Series 1 - 162 SP points; 18 MP points - Total 180 - Rewards 60/120
S1 Summer - 39 SP points; 6 MP points - Total 45 - Rewards 15/30
S1 Autumn - 41 SP points; 4 MP points - Total 45 - Rewards 15/30
S1 Winter - 40 SP points; 5 MP points - Total 45 - Rewards 15/30
S1 Spring - 42 SP points; 3 MP points - Total 45 - Rewards 15/30

Series 2 - 143 SP points; 57 MP points - Total 200 - Rewards 80/160
S2 Summer - 34 SP points; 16 MP points - Total 50 - Rewards 20/40
S2 Autumn - 37 SP points; 13 MP points - Total 50 - Rewards 20/40
S2 Winter - 35 SP points; 15 MP points - Total 50 - Rewards 20/40
S2 Spring - 37 SP points; 13 MP points - Total 50 - Rewards 20/40

Series 3 - 144 SP points; 68 MP points - Total 212 - Rewards 80/160
S3 Summer - 37 SP points; 16 MP points - Total 53 - Rewards 20/40
S3 Autumn - 35 SP points; 18 MP points - Total 53 - Rewards 20/40
S3 Winter - 35 SP points; 18 MP points - Total 53 - Rewards 20/40
S3 Spring - 37 SP points; 16 MP points - Total 53 - Rewards 20/40

Total to Date - 449 SP points; 143 MP points - Total 592

Some weeks there's even a multiplayer event in the Dailies, adding another point you won't gain without multiplayer.

Completely offline just the first car is attainable. So far the 40/160 point cars require some online tasks.

Yeah, it can become a chore to go through multiple cars just to find the right tune that works best for you.

I'd like to get back into tuning, but the amount of time it takes to do it yourself is overwhelming. It's not something I'd want to do after I come home from work. It would have to be on a day I'm off or else the motivation isn't there.

And then you remember how much of a hassle it was back in the day when everything had to be done manually...something I for one DO NOT miss in the slightest, so yeah...at least thankful that's not a thing anymore.
