Execpt for the Camaro ZL1, which Is another redudant car, the rest of the list, It's a huge win.
I'm okay with all the returning ones from FH5/Motorscam, you know, Starion and Celica are good Cars, IMHO.
But the spotlight for me It's another Alfa Romeo, the Tipo 33 Daytona, HOLY MOLY!!

Looking good. Especially looking forward to having a crowded stadium - the car dealership was a really fun community hang out this season.

2 Toyotas I’m really looking forward to in there.

My reaction to this update:

Honestly, I figured this was going to be an upgrade fodder update. The N600 is downright pathetic, its 36 HP engine is practically begging to be swapped out (very obviously going to be slotted into Eclectic Domestics), and the Celica GT and Starion, while cool, were never exactly practical because they're confined to C and D classes, so you kinda need to upgrade them to do anything special with them.

But looking at the Camaro and Exocet, I see an update that is very front-loaded. You get a Track Toy for the time attack circuit (which tbh looks like it's meant for lower-class cars like the Starion), and a Camaro alongside the N600, so it's not like you're lacking for performance before the upgrade fodder cars come in.

And, I've said this before, but holy cow that car pass. Darn near took what would've been seen as a 'meh' update in a post-Car Pass FH5 Series and elevated it to an at least solid update. The 961 to me is the real star of the show, alongside the Tipo 33, but that R30 and the Thunderbird are worth the wait in every respect.

Plus, y'know, we just got the Cosmo and ZGT. I think we're owed upgrade fodder updates every once in a while to cleanse our palate before the real bangers drop next month.
 
It's been 3 months since release and they're already running out of content to add (even for the car pass, wtf). The only thing I'm really "excited" about would be the Honda kei car and maybe the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/2, but the rest is either recycled from the last game (Toyota Celica/Mitsubishi Starion), a copy of an already existing car (Camaro ZL1) or a 15 year old model that we have to pay money for (Ford Thunderbird). I assume next month we're getting a lot of recycled Lotuses and Jaguars, since many of them have been missing in FH6

In my opinion, I would rather have recycled cars be added to the autoshow and fill the empty festival rewards slots with hard-to-find cars than having to grind 20 points just to get an uninteresting car that I'm going to drive for 2 minutes and never again. I know, 20 pts isn't that hard to obtain, but it's still tedious to do. And about the Ford Thunderbird - I'm beyond dissapointed. I get it, Forza used to have cars that were already in Motorsport as Car Pass (especially FH1), but I thought they stopped that in FH5 (minus the 911 Sport Classic), so to see the idea be revived is just not good to see. It's not even the new model (same year as the one in FM4)

I just hope we don't see 3 Morris cars in the playlist just like in FH5


I mean, the Thunderbird isn't a bad car, I just would rather see it be introduced with the Festival Playlist rather than the 30$ car pass. Same goes for the 961 race car, which was in FM8

The R30 and the Tipo 33 look cool, the other two being paid-for returnees is very sketchy but honestly to be expected :/

Nice to see more kei cars with the N600, glad to see the Exocet finally making it into Horizon, the Starion and the Celica are fine as returnees.

The Camaro might honestly be even more egregious than the Evo Spyder. That at least had the removable roof. As far as I can tell, this is literally the exact same as the 2017 ZL1 model. Can only hope it has some kind of visual mods to make its presence mean literally anything

This Camaro better have something special about it like a body kit or something. It's literally the same car we already have.

The rest I'm looking forward to not a huge fan of paying for the Porsche and thunderbird since they have been in previous Motorsports but oh well nice to get a few more race cars added to use around the time attack circuits.
 
The excitement phase kind of ended with me already on the update. The Car Pass cars are the only thing shining in this update. But for a game that had an amazing launch, a lot of promise to the community, and looked like it had a bright future, they kind of just blew it with these previous updates.

The 2nd series I figured was a filler series because they were probably using that series to work on bugs and such. Series 3 had promise, and the fact we could find wheelspin cars (if we spent our time restarting our game over and over) was cool. The Temerario was a huge surprise for me (I was not expecting it to be added so soon, nor for it to be free). But this series, for casual players who just own the game, no dlc, this is such a nothing series. And by the response i see from people voicing their opinions, it is just negative as well.

And it is honestly infuriating that there is radio silence. All the negative reviews on steam get this same copy and paste response. I really want to be excited for the updates, but they are making it tough to look forward to the future of this game.

And for a live service game, they really are not doing a whole lot to retain players with these updates either. I really hate being negative, especially for the game I was the most excited about this year, but they just don't do anything to let the community know they are seeing the complaints and are doing something about it. It is all radio silence, and does not make me have high hopes for the rest of the future of this game.

Exactly. It’s been out for ONLY 3 months.
Looking at the gap from 5 to 6 and also the state of the industry or actually the world at large this game will have to last us at least half a decade.

Patience. They’re only getting started.

Oh yeah--this is part of why I miss the streams from FH5, at least they'd make a joke about this before telling you what makes it different, like with the Taycan Cross Turbo and how they joked about how they'd been giving out way too many Taycans before basically coming out and saying that it was something with higher PI--then IIRC it turned out to be A800, making it a Taycan for that class. If this were livestreamed they'd probably reveal its customization right there and then.

Basically, Bugatti, Daihatsu and Suzuki are the most important brands yet to be featured in FH6 thus far.

And speaking of post-launch content, we gained around 71 known cars so far (from 534 cars to 605) - not including any Forza editions or promotional cars. The Car Pass is expected to be complete by December 10th.

Would be interesting to see how many cars we actually end up with in time for the game's first year anniversary next year, or in the shorter term, when the game releases on PS5.

However, fully eliminating all FOMO mechanics (making all Festival Playlist cars available in the Autoshow after a series) should be in Playground's priority list.
