They have the data and I don't, but I still find it hard to believe that more drifting is what people want.

This likely isn’t a reactive development and was planned 6+ months ago.

Shimanoyama Circuit never had a Time Attack attached to it so it was likely always planned to get Drift Attack.

Edamame would make for a good temporary Drift Attack too.

The manufacturer logos are in 200p (200x200) and they refuse to make them higher res for some reason so you're better off making a vector version of the logo with the in-game shapes than using some blurry mess.
I’m surprised they didn’t make them .svg especially after adding so many new decals this time round.

Also if anyone wants 7-Eleven logos I recently shared some. You can’t open source them anymore but download and trace if you like.

I feel like the W1 is too recent, plus no customer cars have even been delivered yet.

But I’m sure we’ll see it eventually, even with the glacial pace that PG is adding cars with.
I mean that's fair enough, also very true.

But given we got the F80 last month it would be nice to get it's main rival into the game and plus I'm sure PG would be able to get access to a W1 even though customer ones haven't been delivered yet. Guess we'll have to wait and see 😀.

To me it looks like ‘New-to-Horizon’ is the new branding. For the current series they used the following wording: “ 3 new-to-Horizon cars, including the 1970 Honda N600” even though the Honda N600 is als new-to-Forza and the same applies to the 2024 Camaro

It's also their excuse for why the Thunderbird and 961 are in the Car Pass when they were in Motorsport before--the Car Pass isn't just New-to-Forza anymore, it's New-to-Horizon primarily.

But hey, certainly glad to see confirmation on the XJ-S making a return! That little scrappy thing deserves to come back for sure, a typical recycle it is not!

...also 7/11 being FH6's first official collab is... interesting. Wonder if it's going to be the sponsor of a Evolving World Car Meet?

EDIT: Oh, by the way, if you guys miss Forza Monthly and Let's Go, Charleyy is the host of the Xbox Gamescom stream right now, where they're going to demo Drift Attack!

I never thought I'd be this interested in a 7-Eleven collaboration, but here we are. 7-Eleven is absolutely ubiquitous in Japan, and the company has been making moves for the last few years to tie itself more to current car culture, so it's cool to see more contemporary tie-ins being added to the game.

Only thing that's weird to me is that this 7-Eleven Supra promotion isn't launching in Japan right away. Seems like a bit of a strange move, honestly. :odd:

I'm sure partnership dreck that's exlusively available in certain regions of the word is exactly what the players want and have been desperately waiting for.
Feedback portal has an entire section for brand partnership suggestions: https://forzafeedback.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/46

7-Eleven got 85 votes: https://forzafeedback.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/46/GFHPMS-175

Reminder that the feedback portal isn’t a democracy, there’s no guarantee that high votes = inclusion.

It's always a good idea to get good/practice at drifting, or at least give it a go.

Not because drifting is cool or anything like that - but ability to drift can help you race faster. Grip racing won't help you drift better, but drifting can help you grip race quicker.

More times being able to control a slide has got me the lead in tight corners.
Thanks but i,ll give drifting a miss,i have no interest in it all.👍

The fact that it's not available in Japan is mind-bogglingly strange considering 7/Eleven is huge over there.
I think it's a situation where the brand rights are different in North America versus Japan. 7-Eleven US and the Japanese parent Seven And I are starting to be more of a combined organization though.

(I also wonder if purchases will be applicable for their other regional brands in the US, Speedway and Stripes)

As far as I can tell 7/11 in Japan doesn't sell Slurpees, so that may be why they aren't included.

7-Eleven is an interesting collab. I understand they are quite nice in Japan but when I was in Texas they were about the trashiest convenience stores around. Also funny but currently my closest 7-Eleven to where I am in Southern Utah is over 2 hours away nearly in Arizona.

Looks like a couple aftermarket car spots will be added around the drift circuit. One of the spawns is the F150 Forza Edition.

The XJ-S FE is a permanent reward, so the XJ-S is a LOCK for the Festival Playlist.
It's Lock under Horizon Drift Rush, and that car will be a reward after you play that mode... and not for the Plalylist, and the Drift Circuit, with the mode are PERMANENT in Game.

Other than 7-11 you also have Lawson and FamilyMart. Apparently, the store they associate the most with the one near Mt. Fuji is indeed a Lawson.

Makes me miss doing late night konbini runs when I went to Tokyo.

The XJ-S FE is a permanent reward, so the base XJ-S is a LOCK for the Festival Playlist.
Are you sure about that? 🙂

According to the article, the stock XJ-S is heading straight to the Autoshow. 👍
