I think that is more or less how basic an E36 Compact looks haha. Seriously though, it is significantly better than the M3 we've been stuck with since FM2 and that inexplicably gained amber indicators in the jump from FM4 to 5, so someone had actually worked on it. D'oh!

The 323ti just makes me wish T10 would include more basic models for the cars they feature. I enjoy driving the lower powered ones so much more, with their softer suspensions and engines that need work to get some speed. Driving the high-po stuff feels way more one dimensional at times. Where we have the Focus ST, it'd be great to have the 125ps EcoBoost, or the F30 320i or 320d as examples.

The issue here is that high end models are all about performance, and this is Forza Motorsport so these models are the most relevant for the game.
 
There's an extensive upgrade path and Motorsport isn't just about the top end. I'd rather watch Group N racing than LM or F1 any day.

I think this is where the problem lies. If you model multiple models of the same car repeatedly you end up with considerably less overall car variety, which leaves the developers at an ultimatum - recreate single models or multiple.
 
Well, if that Manta ends up being a Unicorn, let's hope they make it stupid easy to get like the Huracan ST. Otherwise, this seems like an awesome pack.
 
Anyone else having problems paying for the car pack? Keeps saying try again there is a temporary problem with the service. Try again later etc. Happened when I updated my debit card details.

Love this car pack and love the FH3 teaser. Hopefully we see more of it at gamescom!

I also feel like we'll see a way to get these exclusive unicorn cars very soon!

No problems with having more variety of models in the same lineup.

It's just common sense that we don't need 23 Miatas but having a normal 3 series and the M3 together won't hurt.

Same for Jaguars. I don't want all the vulgar spoilers of the XKRS GT whatever. I want a regular XKR. Why not?

Regular Ford Fiesta, etc. Some just want to murder hot laps and races and there's always that one that have the fantasy about driving his own car or a similar model inside the "no-limits" game environment. :)

Getting a Forza mistake fixed is roughly the same as getting a law repealed. And even if you achieve the impossible, dozens of new ones have popped up in the interim.

Oh, I'm not Clyde. I'm the cleaning lady who's picking up what's left of his brain after his head exploded at the sight of the R91CP and F-158. They tell me it went *pop* like a balloon. Oh, well. You know how those gearheads are.

(And then there's the Datsun, A.J. Foyt's front-engined Indycar, the absolutely mental 695 Biposto... And the 166M and Maserati Berlinetta announced for Horizon 3. Best pack and best day to be a Forza fan ever!)

P.S: that feel when you are out of e-monies and instead of spending the whole night driving the new cars you'll have to wait until tomorrow... Ugh.
 
I also had problems buying the car pack at first. Then I saw there was a 1 GB system software update pending for my console. No problems buying the pack after updating the system. I can't say whether this fixed it as some services are having trouble at the moment.

Maybe they're testing the Manta for Horizon 3 to put it in the game since it's a rally car and there's lots of offroad in the games.
 
Is it just me, or is the R91CP shockingly slow? I can't get above 186mph without slipstream.

I'm guessing they modeled it with the Daytona gear ratios and downforce levels.
 
Another E36! Sweet cheesy crackers!! That is a huge surprise. Never does T10 cease to impress. I haven't seen a Ti in a game since Gran Turismo 2, and even better, this one has an L6!!

The Nissan #23 Nissan Motorsport R91CP '91's handling is no doubt the tightest, most stable and most responsive out of any car in the entire game, even further when you install the fully upgraded driveshaft, race-spec slicks and tire width. It won't be able to reach 200mph that way though, no matter how much you upgrade it with an engine de-restriction and with the Powertrain Engineer Mod, which could bring it to 788hp (de-restricted) or 866hp (de-restricted with the Mod).
 
They are trolling with the Watson Sheraton Thompson... here's a 700pp class car with a 2 spd gearbox... and its own manufacturer group...

Good luck to you OCD guys who need Level 25 on all manufacturers.

I disagree with how Turn 10 does not allow 6 spd gearbox upgrades on these cars.

Its supposed to be an indy racers, yield a massive top speed over anything. And I believe in rFactor, this car is called "Indy roadster".

They are a Microsoft company. It would be stupid if they didn't have lots of money for their games.

Kinda. Much like XJR9 is.

To think that GT factor may come to play (and thus cars like BMW V12 LMR and Bentley Speed 8 appears on PCars and Forza 6). But 90s Nissan Prototype racers are famous on its own right. GTP ZX Turbo, R90C, R91CP, R92CP, etc.
