I got the Hyundai racing suit but I didn't participate in any online races,I also got double money? or is that because they failed at it before.
 
I got the same, but I didn't pay attention to what the messages were, so there's a new car in my garage and I have no idea what it is. LOL.

I spent a little time trying to paint using KB&mouse. While there are certain aspects that feel vastly improved using a mouse to place decals, the over all experience is clunky and needs a metric ton of refinements.

For example, changing colors is best done with the key board, due to the smallest color swatches. And once you've clicked the color you want, you don't select it. You'd have to press enter on the keyboard to make it happen. I wonder if Turn 10 I'll look into this for future Forza titles?

Thinking about how terrible the decal editor is with KB&Mouse has me thinking he editor was pretty bad all along. While I worked with it, I never found it to be intuitive or easy to work with. I feel its time it got a much needed overhaul.
 
If anything, I still believe that Forza probably has the best overall livery editor - but it is still incredibly frustrating to use, and is hopelessly confusing for anyone trying it for the first time. Really, Forza needs to crib from other games:

- The ability to upload .PNG or .SVG files ala GT Sport (There is seriously no need to have decals and user created liveries be pixelated POS's anymore when up close, especially when a game has proven that it can work, and will lead to even more realistic and dead on replicas)

- The ability to place decals and items on glass like NFS 2015 / Payback (Why this hasn't been implimented yet, I don't know, but T10 gonna T10)

And while you're at it, why don't you guys make the ability to search liveries like it was in Forza 4 / Horizon? The ability to search via top rated and most downloaded certainly would be nice.

Got the Hyundai suit and the Monte Carlo, but no Torana or Falcon. Oh well.
 
Apparently, they are tied to participation in the FRC Mixer stream and rivals events. I've done most of the Rivals events, so they must be related to Mixer.
 
I got everything except the Monte Carlo. I think it may have been tied to the second Hyundai rivals event because I only did the one for the driver suit.
 
New Rivals/Forza RC events next week will have the M-B SL65 and VW Corrado available as participation prizes. And the Alfa SZ will be the league prize. Slowly but surely they're getting there.

To anybody that has every car (or nearly): how many are still locked away, not counting the ones set as prizes that we currently know about?

I'm guessing that, Forza Editions excluded, we're looking at about two dozen, right? Trying to get a list together for an article.

I had a look at my car collection and noticed I have 42 cars left to unlock, 12 of which are FE cars. There's at least 10 cars on offer through various challenges in the coming weeks (Bounty Hunter, leagues, Forzathon) so that number is slowly but surely dwindling down.

But that was before we received the Challenger from leagues, and the Miata FE, SS FE and Macan from the last Forzathon, so we're at 38 as of right now, minus the FE cars it's just under 30.
 
How do I put myself in last place on a free race? How do I start in last place I mean?

Also, what is the technique to drifting? I am going sideways on corners and cant get any points.

Drifting in GT was pretty basic, just go sideways as if you are drifting, but I dont get anything when I do it.

For drifting, when you set up a race in single-player, you have to go to race setup and actually change the race type to drifting. There is also timed, and drag, and a couple more I think. The default is circuit. Once you switch to drift, then it will score points for your drifting.

I don't think you can set up a race so you start last.

Only way, I believe, is to set the grid order by PI and have the least amount in the field. Which is pretty much impossible to do with homologation.

In my spreadsheet you can filter the Special Access column for “Exclusive” to see the list of models that haven’t been announced yet. Or the Gift column by “?” - upcoming rewards are marked as 201804.

I cant get more than one car on the track for a race on free play, used to have total of 24, what did I change? Help?

Where it says MAX DRIVATARS it is 0, it should be 23, what did I do? Or I should be able to put in up to 23 drivers there.

Interesting... I was spurred on by racing against a very speedy Z4 M Coupe from @Brend, and wondering if I had missed something about it becoming available at some point. Sadly, nope, still locked away. :(

You should be able to just slide the bar up to 23 drivers. Check the other settings then. Check the Race type, make it CUSTOM, or Circuit. That should take the setting off of zero.

Nothing, have tried everything. Was always at 23 in the past, now cant move the 0

It's another glitch. It happens to me too just back out of freeplay and it should reset itself once you return back to freeplay. Good ol T10 right
