For both Fujimi Kaido and Nürburgring to run on a 4GB graphics card like my laptop (Albeit on lowest settings) and both tracks loading a whole lot faster on it, I think they did a damn good job!!

I actually liked racing at Mogyoród in Assetto Corsa Competizione and would love it to come to Forza (some time in the 2030s probably).

I'd rather have something like this than yet another race track that looks like Hermann Tilke sat on a wire coathanger, held it up and thought "Hmmm, this could be the inspiration for my next masterpiece".
Been there in real life (F1 last year).

It’s pretty.

I was checking some japanese videos of FM without HUD

it really shows the realism of game, could easly trick some people into think its a actual race/car footage

Not my pic and unsure if this was posted already, but very cool little detail on Fujimi! I have to say, T10 did a really good job bringing this track back.

I wonder if someone can get this texture file and post here in its full glory

Has anyone heard one of the 3 songs that turn 10 comissioned from Lance Hayes? They said we would hear these songs in the main menu and other places but, at least for me, they aren't playing anywhere.
Yeah I haven't heard any older title songs either. Either it's a bug and they didn't make it in or it's new songs composed by Lance Hayes that will be in rotation. I swear I heard a new song yesterday while playing that sounded different from the rest usual ones but maybe my mind was playing tricks on me.

Tonight I ran the Forza 1 series and D Open and I could really see a difference in AI behavior. Sure there was the occasional tapping of the brakes but not the slamming of the brakes by the AI as it was before. The AI let me have the inside line through the Andretti Hairpin and didn't turn in and hit me like they did before. The first race in D at Eagle Rock before the update was always a mess at "The A" but this time there was no wadding up of cars or cars flying in too fast. Overall the racing was very close. I won all of the races but not by much. I really had to work for it.

As a bonus I wanted to try the Pantera so I ran 10 laps at Watkins Glen full. Level 6, max PI 505. That race was excellent. 2 or 3 times I went side by side with the AI through the Bus Stop and they never hit me.

Was the audio always as rambunctious as it is now? Really reminds me of how it was in FM4.

Listening on my PlayStation Pulse headphones last night (wired into the Xbox controller) the wail of the 360 Challenge Stradale at 8,000 rpm was making my hair stand up. Just a really euphoric intake roar.

I finally love this sim.

Fujimi Kaido has been a game changer for me, ust genuinely enjoying driving.

Looks absolutely stunning, the whole track is so well detailed. For its size, you sort of wouldn't blame Turn 10 for some sections of the track feeling a little same-y, but every part of the track has own feel and look to it. Even the super wide downhill section is well done in the way it utilises overtaking lanes and side road parking spots to disguise the width of the road, rather just being a Horizon-esque freeway sized mountain road.

Night time has given it a whole new life as well.

My only fault with is not having point 2 point segments of it. All I want is to be able to drive it purely as a hillclimb, or purely as a downhill drifting road.

I did notice, for the Drift Meetup, it shows 6 routes available rather the actual 2...

Is it 6 variations of weather/time of day for the track?

Fujimi actually has a few wrecked cars littering its cliffs:
They must have let Horizon's Darius Flynt onto the course to do a few laps.

Wow, even the Mustang is nice. It's been four for four with this car pack for me and combined with the new AI and track this update has definitely been a winner with me so far. And the twentieth anniversary tour hasn't even started yet (when? when? Any minute now).

In my headcanon, that tunnel is now haunted.
After successfully negotiating eleven laps of the hellishly tedious Eagle Rock Speedway in a pokey P2W Toyota Tourer II I've been keeping myself awake by concocting further lore for the game.

The Augie's Place notch is named for the owner's son Augustus Eaglerock III who managed to wipe out his car after dozing off sometime around lap seven. Such was the facile nature of the track's simple layout his vehicle managed to complete another two or three laps of the track by itself before exploding into a massive fireball.

Augie was still asleep when they pulled him from the wreckage leading to his being awarded the nickname of "Captain Snore".

My guess is that the Hayes OST is used as background music for Not-Peter Serafinowicz's plummy voiceovers before the start of the initial tour. Then it's back to the torture of the regular menu "music" which Turn 10 should license out to the people who run Guantanamo Bay so they can torment their prisoners with those unbearable sounds.

You obviously haven't listened to the voiceover yet... ;)

hellishly tedious Eagle Rock Speedway

i bet you dont used to say that about GT´s Beginner Course lol

jokes aside, cant undestand why people endless hate a course with the purpose to be clearly made for beginners while show their endless love for alps that is a circuit that is is just a tech showcase with a lot of runoffs than a parking lot/car park autocross and lots of stupid tight 180 turns that are there just to say that the track has any "challlenge" (at least on the long course, short is better, but long there has a few curves with unesssary breakzones)

at least i can undestand the love for fujimi, japanese turnpike track with lot of challenging curves, perfect for touge and drift where one mistake can be (now litterally and canoically) deathly
meanwhile alps is by far the mehest track i had raced at on Forza, could be more but still...
at least EagleRock fits a purposoe (teach beginners how properly drive) and while it is the most simpliest track on Forza since the snake tracks and benchmark tracks, at least does what is proposed to do

I play game also to have some eye-candy, so while maybe not the best for racing per se, my favourite Forza fantasy tracks are Prague, Rio and now Fujimi. I agree Alps in FM7 were meh.
