FP_FRS Week 1: Ease Into It

Jump_Ace, I know you are taking our times from this forum and posting to the leader board, but I am taking we still have to post an offical time on the link you have before closeing time. Is this correct? I want to make sure I do not miss out posting for this week. This is the first time I have ever held the top spot in any comp so I was very happy even though it did not last long.

That is correct, you will still need to submit your final time by the deadline using the FRS Submission form.

We will mostly use stock cars for the series, but there will be the occasional upgrade/tuning event to shake things up. But we don't want it to become a tuning competition as it requires skill to adapt to the car instead of making the car adapt to you (another good skill tho).

I ask because, except for race cars, I don't like to drive stock cars. I tune all my cars so that is what I am used to.

Sounds like fun though. Reminds me of the Dirt races we had with Will.

No, all of them will not be driven under 100% stock restrictions.
 
Shaved off just a little bit of time. From 1:06.010 down to 1:04.975.

Funny thing is my first time was on adjusted tyre pressure. Now that it's been clarified that one cannot do so, my second time is on standard tyre pressure. I guess I adjusted wrong the first time. :lol:
 
I'm in.

I submitted my time of 1:04.184 for this race.

I just read about the qualifying time, so I will do that now.

Edit: I use a wheel.

They are Unofficial times as its stated above the driver names. The official results will be posted after this weeks race is done, in a new thread.

It was 1:03.684 :)

Also, we got mentioned on the Forza site, so that's why a lot of newcomers can be expected :)
 
Ok, I know I'm slow, so far, after approximately 17 laps I'm sitting at 1:06.389. I'm using a gamepad. I believe if I didn't us auto, I would be faster, but I just don't have the coordination to nail down manual. By the way, nice joice of car. I wouldn't have touched it in the if not for this competition. Perhaps I am going to buy one now.

Leaderboard updated.

I've finally found my stride with this understeering hog, and should easily break into the 1:03's now. I'm never participating in another FF car-theme combo again.

I currently have a broken arm / wrist so I was not able to put a lot of laps in :(

Is there going to be a club for this series or is everyone already in one club or another?
 
One can put together an FRS-based club if one chooses to, but that isn't the purpose of these events.
