Has anyone esle been waiting, oh, 20+ years for this plot to finally develop?

Before it comes out,.. I'd like to debate who would really win.

I'm torn,... right down the middle,... I believe that Freddy was a better psycho killer,... but, my gut says that Jason would whoop Freddy's ass. Thinking how invincible he (Jason) seems sometimes, on top of the fact that he cant dream,.... I guess I'll have to pick Jason as the victor.

Any thoughts?

My though is that is the biggest joke ever... The whole idea is just stupid. Freddy was okay, but the Jason movies were horrible. That is one movie I am not going to see.

I'll have to assume that you didnt grow-up while these movies were popular. Freddy and Jason have notoriously been the all-time greatest slasher psycho's.

This was a majorly debated topic within the horror cult community for a looooooong time.

I have expressed interest in seeing this movie. Not particularly in the theatre, but certainly in a rental. I've always been a fan of Freddy as most times, the movies are entertaining. In particular the 3rd and 4th (Dream Warriors & Dream Master) of the sequels were almost movies by themselves.

the Jason movies were a bit far fetched, and I never really watched them in whole. The Unstoppable Killer always seemed a bit "From teh pages of a comicbook".

However, from early reviewers it's been rumored that there is a clear cut winner at the end of the movie.

My guess: The people in the movie, destroy both characters. Giving a decision and an acceptable ending.

I've always dreaded that outcome.... even thinking about it as a kid. But I suppose it would be the "fairest" thing to do considering both their reputations.

Oh the joy of Childhood memories,... esspeccially the ones that kept you awake at night,.... because you we're too afraid to dream

Made this one up myself when I was little,... but cant think of anything that rymes with 14  - 11, 12 ..... your by youself. ......... meh,. worth a shot anyway

is there even a word that rhymes with fourteen, even if it is not related to freddy?

The only thing I've ever thought of is the phrase "poor-teen" .......... ya know,.. cause he kills teenagers? ................... ok, I'll shut up now :o

i think this looks like one of the stupidest movies ever made.but, if i had to vote,i would vote for freddy because i just saw jason x last night and now i hate him.

Showtime, eh? I saw it too. IMO, it was more of a comedy than it was a horror movie.

Oooohh!!! UberJason is going to kill you!!!! :p

I'm undecided on this seeing as how the only Jason movie I've seen is Jason X and the only Freddy movie that I've seen (not even the whole thing) is Nightmare on Elm Street.
