G'day guys.

I guess i had better dust off the tables and get the dancing girls warmed up. I'm sure the GTP admins won't mind the unlimited bar tab (being the good hosts they are).

So come on, pull up a stool, what will ya be havin'

please feel free to rant and rave all you like. Free drinks and a relaxed atmoshpere to talk ****. Oh, almost forgot the topless bar wenches. :dopey:

just some ceres for me ;)
no girls...or my gf kills me :D :D :D

Coffee for me Keith,i just woke up. 👍

Prune juice for this old man... :p

Well, it's certainly not for the taste :yuck: ;)

I'll have a Guiness, so good after a long week end.

Its beer .... beer ... or beer. None of this coffee or prune juice crap i'm afraid :yuck:

And Rico , a dancing girl lapdance is manditory for team captains. Do you think my wife would be any different to your girlfriend. Nope. But i stood up to her and took one for the team. Bring on the boobies :dopey:

And guys, the jukebox is all ready to be fired up.

And i'll definately be staying away from the toilets for a while. I think that bloody prune juice is working for someone ...........

Ehhh...we can just send in one of the lackey support drivers in there to clean up the crap splatters. No biggie, right?:sly:

: comes in, takes a look around, and walks straight back out :

After all these BC5 discussions today, my bottle didn't last long. Can you order me a keg?

Jeez your a fussy bugger Arwin. More girls for the rest of us then ;)

And eggman .... what beer is that? Got me beer goggles on and can't read too well. Whatever it is i'm sure the GTP credit card will stretch to another keg.

I'm drinking Tooheys OLD. A nice dark ale.

It's George Killians Irish Red, an amber lager. :)

...made by Coors in Golden, Colorado. Not that it's a bad beer - I like it - but don't be fooled about it being European.

I'll take a Bass, myself. Guiness is too much like cold coffee with a head for my taste.

Yeah, almost every American brew that isn't watered down pretends to be made in another country. :odd: A fine eggception is Sam Adams.

Ryp: you gotta a shot of Jim Beam behind there? and a cold pint of Castlemain XXXX knats piss to chase it down. I'll raise a glass to Dukes opp tommorow

Help yourself Tony. It sure does feel good to down some brews in between testing out some of the races. Don't know about the rest of you blokes but i'm staying right here and getting pissed. Racing can wait until tommorrow!

Sure going to be a good show with soo many superquick drivers around the place (and some slowies like me :dopey: ). Really looking forward to seeing the results (and sinking a few kegs along the way).

Why hold off the racing to drink, when you can just race pissed? ;)

True. 👍

While i sit on me ole barstool that i drag to all big race meets, i'm wondering how the rest of you blokes are going with your race preparations. I don't want trade secrets or anything, just a friendly chat

As far as the TT boys are concerned, alls well. While we may not have the strike power of many of the forums listed here, but we are having fun and the team spirit is alive and well. Good group of teamies and i'm proud to be part of em. They are thirsty buggers though and i think a few strong coffees are in order before deadlines approach. Our captain Tony is a fine man for the job, and he does not seem to mind us all turing up for practice dead drunk (onya Tone).

The guys are supportive of each other, and i think we will definately put in an honest performance. Don't expect a podium, but a few scalps would be nice :D

Compare to last year, i think we have a good spirit in our team, guys are working together to find some reference time. We do have one staff that had time at the start to help us with some settings.

The motivation is pretty good, i don't know what to expecte but i'm sur all drivers give there 110% and are having fun. 👍 That is what is supposed to be, fun.

I'm ancious to see the first result coming out so we can drink a good one on the winner.

Everything's peaches & cream with Team Numbers. :) We're driving our asses off. :D

hey Fellas.

Looks like the BC5 is moving along and some amazing times have already been seen. Just like to raise my jug of ale to those who have already raced, and those about to hit the track.

*belch*

thats better.

< pops in for a swift one >
Tell you what has suprised me in this one. The general co-operative atmosphere between all the teams. I know it's always mega competitive, but so far (Half way through), there been no ugly bar room brawls. I think Dukes cool level head at the helm has played a big part in that. (Rasies glass to him)

I'm always amazed (But never suprised) at the unbelievable times the tops guns produce when they go all out against thier fellow Aliens ;)

But for me, (in our little slower board).. the suprise package of this one, is the GT PLAY team... man, they have really improved on thier past BC performances by leap and bounds, We used to be around the same mark as them, but they have blown us out of the water this time.. and on a personal level, I really liked many of the races they sumbitted in the big list. So from the stool at the end of the bar.. "Here's to the GT Play guys" Gulp gulp gulp.. Ahhhh, downed in one :)

I'm blaming these free drinks for my upcoming performance in Round *. :dopey:

Yup, this has been (so far) an excellent BC. Looks like we're learning a thing or two about how to hold this mega-comp

*Tips mug to Duke and all the Teams*

At this point, I'd like to take the opportunity to announce that the GTX (former GTF) would like to offer to host BC6, with yours truely taking the Race Steward helm.

Dang! I wanted to be the first Steward to sanction it twice!

I'm sure you'll do an excellent job, Ed, and if I can help, I'll be glad to do so.
👍

I was hoping for Duke to do it again :D
but...well I hope u can do an as good job as he made ;) (it won't be easy :D )
