I'd do the passing one thing, however I have one problem how can I use it and give it away at the same time, I'm kind of a noob that way, can somebody care to explain?
I'm dying to get a gold chip.

You receive the chip then save the game. Exit the game, back up your save, re-enter the game, send to the next person, then restore the back up. The chip will be sent and you will still have the chip.
