Out there are more people using the borrow glitch, just look around ... this is not the only thread.
No hard feelings but you have to shutdown them all.
You don't want to do that.

GTPlanet works a little like this.
Some one makes a post offers some thing and people trade for it.
On the Occasion some will FIND FREE things. LIKE THE GLITCH "PERMANENT BORROW"
Then some takes that IDEA and makes a new thread and trys to get a little something in return for letting people "PERMANENT BORROW" there cars.
Now I can see why your upset, But thats life.
But you must understand people have spent many months in finding rare cars.
I myself included. I have every car, All unpaintable standards and many 0/0/0 cars, All Academy cars in 0/0/0. All Veyrons, All X1s in every colour, I traded or played my game for everything I owned now to give it away for nothing in return would bother many people, Me not fussed. But when you have spent months looking for all them ITEMS then I can not blame some one wanting a little some thing in return.
Best thing to do is just let things lie. I look upon people giving stuff away on threads like these as a little foolish when they could easily fall upon your thread, But like I say thats life, It happens.

Thats GTPlanet.
But I understand that many out there would be bothered when they have spent months getting everything. which is not easy.?
Then for others to come along and spend a few days to have the same has them.
Thats why I can see why people are making these type of threads?
Just trying to get a little something for the months they have put into collecting.

This thread provides personalize service. Your thread does not. Its a cluster 🤬 of people asking who has this, I'm not saying that method isn't effective but it can be a little intimidating to new members.

I agree mate.
My suggestion would be to get a list of the people who are glitching and the one,s who are sharing.
Get them all together on this and put 6 cars a piece up for share.
Get enough who are willing then when you have that list of people, Put them into the OP.

If done like this you could have every RARE car what people are after.
Then some one can come along and just add certain friends who have the cars they are looking for.?
No one has to keep changing there shares to suit one person.
Just move over to the next sharer?
Then you could be removed from the previous friend list to make room for another?

Now that is a good idea...assuming the sponge glitch will continue after any updates. I'm willing to share if others are...

Plus if you get enough people its fine if not you could easily changed the cars say every 8 hours that would be like 18 cars per person in 24 hours.?

Why would put yours to a corner provided with a slice of humble pie?
3 reasons and quite logical ones.
1st---created on the 8th of June and in just over 3 days had 1000 posts of it's own.
Now it's with 8217 posts and that's a feat that will be very hard to surpass in such a short time in a single thread.
2nd---There were similar thread at that time for the same items and christara321 never bothered with other users creating new ones as he knew it wasn't something deemed damaging to his own thread (there's leaders and followers if you get the catch).
3rd---You know you're on borrowed time like any other glitches that were found before and then got erradicated (Nurburgring,Tokyo Tunnel Strip etc) but for now you're enjoying your let's call "2 weeks of stardom" while the gravy train is going.
The gears thread looks like it was built on lifetime rails though...
Anyway,very good of yourself to find the weakness,exploit it and MOST OF ALL SHARE IT! I congratulate you on that...now let's descend to Earth shall we?

Fun reading all the messages while I was away. Thanks everybody for joining the discussion and for all the guys (girls?) who are better in explaining than me with my dyslectic English :)

The basic reason to start my own thread is that I can subscribe to it and receive emails, which are ment for me to read.
I would never subscribe to a general thread as too many posts are not for me.
I and also others, as some already pointed out, have been collecting since december 2010 daily to receive the collection we have at the moment (1700+ cars). Since I think my collection is properly and worth sharing, I do it. As writen in the OP it is for free, but of course gifts are accepted. Who doesn't...

Ok, if the glitch still works after the current maintenance I will continue this thread and hope people can use my 5.2mb savegame filled with cars.....

At least would keep you busy...

I suggest you search for the powerbutton of your computer and press it for 20 seconds. The quietness and peace you will experience is much better than the stress you get from bugging other's threads.
