Free PSN Games - Your Choice of 2 from a List of 5

If anyone finds their links 'vanishing' try this, from the PS blog:

Try this:
1. On your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable navigate to the PlayStation Network icon on the XMB
2. Log into your PlayStation Network account and choose Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List
3. Choose “PlayStation Network Promotions” from the list of services displayed
4. Select either “PS3 Free Games” or “PSP Free Games” and then choose “Select Content”

Cool. That worked perfectly! I now have 3 games (LBP, WO-HD & DN) actively downloading between my 2 accounts. Thanks for catching that

EDIT: Kept retrying and finally got to the Wipeout +Fury screen. Then I got another error code . I guess I shouldn't be so angry. The servers are full with other people DLing

Sounds as if i'll just wait til late tonight to download these.Seems as though too many problems are going on due to traffic.

I've waited this long for these 2 games so what's a few more hours

TBH I did get the downloads to eventually work, but it did take persistence. Waiting is indeed probably the least aggravating solution though

Just follow those instructions. That's what I did and after a few re-trys, I managed to get 'em both DLing and I've got Wipeout HD installing now and Fury being downloaded now.

Since i've got such a busy weekend i'm probably going to wait til Sunday to download everything.Since work has been so stressful as of late waiting does sound like a good idea 👍

I've managed after loads of error messages to get one download to start, I think I'l only do this one tonight. I also noticed how Sony has said the offer is only available to accounts created a few months ago or earlier... very clever .

infamous is about 7 gb

Wipeout about 1.8 gb

Superstardust is 1.7 gb

Dead nation is 1.4 gb

edit; sorry, Superstardust is 277 mb not 1.7 gb. I think the others are correct tho

Don't forget each may have a 100+MB update download as well. I know for a fact both WO and DN do.

Can't get either PS3 game to download. Too many error messages. When I get one, I just hit the back button and try, try again. No luck after one half hour. I get to the game 'download' part and it never downloads.

As for the "fix" for the missing free downloads... quick question? For the people that the fix has worked for, did you already select which game you wanted before it missing?

I clicked on a game I wanted and then it said I needed to download the welcome package thing first (I still don't get what that is), so I went to click it and I got an error. When I backed out all the free games had gone!

So I went the 'fix' route and they all showed up and so far 1 had downloaded fine. Thank goodness there is a fix!

I followed this and kept getting error messages. I ignored them, hit the back button over and over again and finally got the two games to download. Still downloading.

I guess patience or persistence (or both) is the best medicine. My first try at a download resulted in a missing "free game 1" link. I was terrified it had been lost forever. I'll keep trying this "fix" thing, although nothing is showing up yet (except error messages).

Tonight is going to be a real test of the PS servers.

Took a bit of trying to get the downloads started, and 3 hours later, I'm 30% through the first one.

I'm kinda holding off on downloading any of those special offers until I get some facts straight, maybe someone here can help me:

-I have multiple accounts, will I be able to use the offers twice even though it'll be on the same system?
-If I download a game, add-on, or avatar on one account, will it be available for all other accounts, too?
-And is there any reason to wait until later before starting the 30 day PS Plus trial?
