Free Sims?

I am looking for a good clean free racing sims. I have tried Racer, but am looking for something with a more active modding community.

I don't really care about online play.

I tried the demo for Live For Speed. Not bad. You have to pay to unlock the complete version though.

Download Live for Speed. Less than 200 Mb download; you get 3 cars and a (cool) track with circuit and rally layout, online races, full tuning system and forum access.

Can't beat that. The physics are great, in fact despite its outdated-ness many people still claim LFS' physics are the best out there.
