So I was doing hotlaps since the nework is down and in running replays I have been seeing things that I had been noticing during laps that I couldnt put my finger on until now. My question is is there an issue with the "gravity" in GT5, and is this limited to replays or is it inherent during gameplay as well?

I ask because if I run Deep Forest for example when I come down the start/finish straight there is a small hill towards the end that I always seem to get air on no matter which car I'm in, then again when I come out of that hairpin and crest the next hill. When I look at replays its particularly distracting because I get the sense the car either doesnt have enough weight or the gravity acting on the car is not high enough because the airtime should not be as existant or really existant at all.

I just wanted others thoughts because in any real world races I have ever seen, I really can't recall the cars catching air like in GT5 but there are numerous tracks in GT where this happens and to me is unrealistic.

GT5 physics aren't that good. They are fine for driving around but not for collisions and other stuff as you mentioned.

I also noticed it today on corner rumble strips if you hit one, the side that goes over the corner hangs in the air a split second longer than you would think, just an observation.

I get that feeling at the Nurgburg Ring, that jump after the bridge always gets me and my cars catch alot more air then it should...have.
