Now that I have everyone's attention.:lol:I was having problems with my game not loading, as discussed in the "Glitch" thread, and finally got tired of fighting with it so I took it back to GameStop for an exchange. All is working well now with the game, but now I have an extra code that I don't need. I am looking for some ideas on how to fairly give it away to someone who would like it. I could just do "first come, first served" but that's not very fun now is it? Shoot me some ideas and I'll see what I can come up with. Thanks

Give it to a fellow GT5 WRS driver. Maybe one that you have beat into a pulp consistently over many time trials......hmmm, me for instance.

Do a sort of driving competition. A "raffle" of sorts where people enter, and 15 people get drawn for the privilege to race in a championship for the code. Each race is a different car/track combination. Also don't tell anyone what cars/tracks are planned.

How's that?

OK guys, some great ideas so far. I'm going to go play the game for awhile so keep the ideas coming. I probably won't do anything until tomorrow as to let as many people know about this as possible and to get further ideas. I'll update here when I decide what I'm going to do and when. Thanks guys.

This is taking the idea from a Facebook page I follow, but what they do it have a month long competition in which people guess what reptile is in a zoomed in picture. You could do that with GT6 cars and need the exact model name, year, everything (they require scientific name)

Each correct answer issues a point and whoever has the most points at the end of the time period wins. If there's a tie then there's a tiebreaker between the tied players. Just an idea. Probably wouldn't need to be a month though, maybe a week or two at the most. You can check out the format at Repticons Facebook page.

If it's a 25th anniversary code, it shouldn't expire until 2023 at least ;)
The 15th anniversary codes expire on December 6, 2016.
It says so right on the insert that came out of my GT6 case, at least.

I also never said 25th anniversary anywhere.

Yeah, but thread title does.

How about you post it, but omit a couple letters and make everyone guess. I already have mine so I won't be guessing

Hey guys, I made a small mistake in the thread title, which I have fixed. Just to be clear, this code is for the GameStop preorder 15th Anniversary Edition. With this code, you get the following:

25 cars with special liveries and ehancements
Custom paint chips
Race suit
Helmet
Avatars

Expires on 12/6/2016

This code will only work on a USA PSN account, since that's the account region the code is for.

Sorry for any confusion.

Pick 15 people randomly in this thread and then host an online race with qualifying so it's fair. Then the top 6 will have another race against each other and pick the 1st place person after that race to win the code.

Also, remember that this code will only work on a USA PSN account, since that's the account region the code is for.

Johniwanna at Forza.net would have threads where he would ask a trivia question about one of the DLC cars and the first one to get the right answer would get a unicorn car. Those threads were so popular that they caused the web site to slow to a dead crawl. Like..."what was the first car to come with a radio".

So maybe you could dig up a hard to find trivia question and the first to answer gets it. You will need to post the date and time when the question will be asked. Also keep updating to see the answers because people will post the wrong answer just so they can be first and change it later.

I vote a Hunger-Games-style fight to the death.
But with cars. In real life.

TBH, I think a raffle/random selection is the easiest/quickest way, although not with the most pleasing outcome.

No. Game blue ray disc is region locked so you need same region game what DLC is for.
It doesn't help you, if you play EU game with USA account.

Give me the code and I'll give back 10 cars worth 500 thousand each. Then you are giving to ten people instead of one and I can give the code to my nephew. Then we can all race the cars against each other in a 15th anniversary race . Just pick the car you want everyone to have like supra or nascar or whatever . I have over 19 million credits right now

Having that much credits so early in the games makes me think of something..... or a few things. I'll let you decide which ones....

You could take a detail of a picture of a car you like, or think is rare. (not the whole picture because of google pics).
And ask the contendors wich car you are looking for, first correct answer wins.

I won't compete because of my different region, but i really do appreciate your kindness in giving it away my friend. 👍

Thanks Ram for the idea. Glad to see you here on the GT6 side of the forums. How are you enjoying the game so far?

As far as ideas go, I'm leaning towards some sort of raffle or guessing game. I like the idea of holding a race type show down but really don't think that that would be fair to the lesser skilled players so odds are it won't be anything like that. I'm going to sleep on it and I'll decide when I get up. Thanks again guys.
