The Cobra I used was the chromeline one so yeah.👍 Just be gentle on the throttle.:dopey:

Alot of people also like the FD3S RX-7's but I've never really been a fan of it,good luck don't give up.:) I'mma try it too in my ZR1.
 
I use my pontiac Solstace Concept alot, I find it to be one of my most controllable drift cars. For the drift events, I use my Bling-mobile, gold painted and gold rimmed Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren (19inch Wheel Option) '09. Last night was 72nd :sly: this morning i was 990th:grumpy:
 
Well that sure beats 15k placings..:lol: I'm so close to gold 5500 I got 5495 in the ZR1 in polarized 10.:ouch:

Edit: I just got 6537 and moved up to 8279th..
 
just rechecked, on High Speed Ring I'm 1088 and on Nurburgring GP I'm 1064. my personal best!

on a side note is that the ZR1 you won earlier?
 
Yeah it is.:) I'm trying the HSR in the RM'd S15,best I could muster in the ZR1 wasn't even bronze.:(
 
When you won that car, I was typing, your post wasn't there, hit post and when I did yours was there:grumpy:

I never could drift very good with the typical drift cars for some reason. my Solstace is my favorite, but I use a Holden Commodore, and acr viper as well. The only Japanese car I can drift with is the S.S. version AE86 and that's way to slow to be competitive in the trials.
 
Never tried the Pontiac,I have done okay with the Shelby Cobra and Cerbera Speed 6 in the past but today I just cant seem to get going in the S15..
 
I have tried the cobra before I was decent at drifting and kept spinning it, I haven't tried the speed 6
 
I'm just drifting my cars in a-z order around Le Sarthe.:D it's been ages since I've played this game for simple fun reasons.

Hi gt5 fan, do you have a Cerbera Speed 12? I need one as I know all people use it for the Drift events I can give you paints or gears for it 👍

The Buick Special is a good ride too but there is nothing better then a Speed 12 in seasonals.

The more cars to try, the better, I have 15M Cr + 1.5 per Bob, so I'm safe lol

Great, I bought a Pontiac from the UCD and never used it, time to see what I can do with it :p

Vette ZR1? that car is a Beast, don't think I can handle it for drifting, but I "cheated" by using powerful cars before, so will try again, best I could was drifting with a Viper '02, car is a monster, the amount of power it has made it easy to do some good turns, but then Bam! to the wall :ouch: I'm tired of the same result :grumpy:

If you tune it and have trouble controlling it, let me know, I'll send you my set-up. I love the way mine handles.
 
Just a little reminder: This thread is now a bit like a chat room now with all this "drifting" so if it gets worse this could be locked :(.

Its a bit hard for me because I need to do it on my iPod because when I go on the Mac it always freezes on my account. I will look for everybody's car tomorrow.
