Freestyle design. Design anything you want-coupe, SUV, DTM car, F1, Crossover. No limits except that it has to be an automobile:) .

oh yeah and it has to be on paper, no photoshop.

How about my made-up car :D

Im not good at drawing 3D cars, and havent drawn for looooong time so probably wont be able to come up with another one.

Edit: Dont laugh at my car, dude!

Yes someone ACTUALLY POSTED!!!!
Thanks GT4 (which I want, hell Id kill for a PSOne and GT2)
Just cuz you said not to, AHAHAHAHAHAHA YOU SUCK!!!! Just kidding. Looks a bit like an Aston Martin mixed with a Ford GT and a Skyline GT-R. Its not the best drawing, but look on the bright side, its better then when I started drawing first! ;) Ill post some of my best ones for you to look at, and give you some tips. By the way, I am entering this comp, but I look upon myself pretty badly, yours is 45/100 (sorry, no offence if you want me to edit that out just PM me) and mine's only 75/100.

That means so far... they're all about a year old so when I put new ones they'll be much better. Back in pencil too, ExigeRacer tells me to stay away from marker. But no scanner! Digicam stupid auto flash reflects pencil!

ExigeRacer tells you to stay away from, what?

Too bad you dont have a scanner, its really useful dude...

I have one but Im not sure if I can transplant it. Hmm... actually I think I dont have one anymore....
From marker, says I need shading and stuff

You need to work on your proportions and try using some shading. Your SL65 and Fisker look flat.

Mazda decals on a Cadillac?!

Gtracer: Your right, but they look a little better in real life, the digicam skewed them a little.
Cosmic; and Im getting better thanks to Exigeracer. Thank you X! ;)

But still...Mazda decals on a Caddy...

Freestyle design, so they're my own designs.
front 3/4 view isnt too good tho.
Anyway the first ones were just examples of my drawing, now I deisngg! The Porsche was my design too, for the 'redesign the 993' thread, except that got killed so...
Thx to exigeracer's link...which i shall now pass on to you..., I drew those in less than 10 mins. each.

Go here it helped even ME a lot and we all know I would never admit that for hell to anyone who's not as good as me, but this page actually made me admit it! Great site, also great magazine, check it out.;)

I wish I had a scanner/digicam so I could show you guys my designs.

...I have a pic of my version of the new sub-Veyron from Bugatti, somwhere, but I cant seem to find it. But I did come across a quick sketch I drew in Economics class last month. My version of a modern Audi Quattro...

Sorry about the photo quality, my camera sucks...

I dunno about wheels and such. My designs are usually pretty baisic, so lately I haven't been putting them in as often. If I do, I usually use a biaisc five-spoke design and will often include a full brake and caliper set behind them. On the Audi design there, I would probably do something more similar to the wheel found on the VW GTI, as it would fill up the fenders a little better.

Ohhh, and I still havent found the Bugatti pic yet, I'm going to check my car... Be back in 10 (hopefully)...

...Found it:

Picture%20003.jpg

The offical title is the Bugatti 8.2 Concept, which would use a twin-turbochared version of the 4.2L V8 from the Audi lineup. This would be the sub-Veyron car that all the magazines talk about, and would be priced right around $100-150K USD.

I realise now after I have found the picture that the front end needed some ground effects, the wheels/tires are a bit misshapen, and the roof is kinda at a wierd angle when it meets the top-left corner of the windshield. But, I did it without any Bugatti photos to draw comparison to, so it was all off of memory combined with a bit of imagination. Anyway, hope its allright...

EDIT: Just to comment on your works Rouge... They are pretty good, and as they say, practice makes perfect. I've been drawing cars on and off for the last ten years, so my quality has vastly improved since then. My only suggestion for you is to turn the wheels down from 11 to maybe an 8 or 9, as they do need rubber to drive down the street. Other than that, don't be afraid to go without color or sharpened lines. I've made really rough sketches that took 5-10 mins that look better than cars that have taken me close to an hour, so I guess it comes down to how much time you have and how professional you want it to look. Your last postings looked great, both reminded me a bit of the Oldsmobile Toronado for some reason. Keep up the good work!

Yeh thznks. The bugatti's pretty good, but looks pretty much exactly like the Veyron. Anyway, if you want to make your drawings even better, check out the link i posted for gt4rule on page 1. Credits to :bowdown:Exigeracer:bowdown:, it really helps too.

interesting thread, i used to draw alot of cars, im actaully now doing an industrial design course.... if i find some of my old car pictures i put em on here.....:)

...Well, it was supposed to look a bit like the Veyron, as it is a sibling car. I'll take a look at the website, see what it shows, as I have done all of my drawings without any kind of guide over the last few years.

Here's one:
A more modern version of a lamborghini miura.
Hope you like it :)
