freezing? why...?

Ok i have this wired problem so here it is hope you can tell me why.So whenever i go to race on Apricot Hill with my 350z Grand turismo Edition it winds up freezing and i cant figurur out why its the only car that dose it so what i want to know is the problem just on my disc or is this some kind of a defect on all the GT4 games... 👍
anyone else have any 💡 .

Problems like that are generally a problem with the disc, whether it be a scratched surface or generally defective. If you have a friend with a copy of the game, borrow his and test it out on your PS2. If the same problem occurs, it's a problem with your PS2, but I doubt that.

I had the same problem with FIFA 2005 on my PS2. Whenever I would try to change the formation of a team, it would freeze. Turns out the disc was scratched, but not very visibly.
 
its your disc, it happened to me, sooner or later it will happen with other cars at other places, then ur mem of that game gets corupted.

and another thing, when your loading, does the spinning thing turn red? if so you have to get a new copy, if you go to EBgames and get a used copt for like $30
or you can ge a new one for about $40, i baught a used one when this happened to me, and they gave me a new disc so i got a used case with a new disc. NOW I HAVE TO CASES, AND A EXTRA CD TO PLAY FRISBE AT A DOG PARK. *run spraky got cath the messd up cd*
