JK83There isn't any good French drift cars...
Does somebody know a good french drift car?

YES this car is very good for drifting.
Enzo_GuyThe French cars are all about out-of-the-box thinking. Ditch the FR mentality and go for the rally cars, remember those older French rally machines were designed for this!
Clio/Lutecia:
I've personally never been able to dial it in and I've never seen one wielded successfully.
Renault 5 Turbo:
If you can handle short wheelbases this car is all that and a bag of chips to drift on Eiger. Honestly, it's already a lightweight and tail-happy rally car so just a couple power/suspension tweaks and this car is a total animal; be careful on high-speed sweepers because that's where it starts getting a little too loose.
Alpine A110/310:
I love rally cars and the A110 matches my balls-to-the-wall style. I drift like it's 1985 and I'm Ari Vatanen: all throttle, no mercy, if it ain't floored then I ain't happy. The A110 takes a bit more finesse than the A310, but both require a more experienced hand. On the flip side, they were designed from the ground up to go sideways in a controllable manner so they're pretty rewarding once you get the feel for them.
Peugeot 205:
If you're not opposed to 4WD drifting, this gets the job done and more. A good driver can make this thing drift with the grace of an Olympic figure skater. The short wheelbase makes it a twitchy ride and will keep you on your toes, it'll either click or you'll need some serious practice time to get it right in a 205.
Agreed! This thing maintains a slide for days.YES this car is very good for drifting.
BlameAuntJemimaI never used it to drift but I don't know how good the premium Renault Clio would be.
Veyron maybe?
MetalJetI used it just to get the gold on the French DT, but I have to say the setup still needs work and you best have a light accelerator foot/finger to make it work. I managed 8500 points with it, but I'm not satisfied with that score, so moving on to another car. Probably the 905, as JK is using and hitting big scores with it.
I also used the 905 and got around 1100 points. The Speed ring is a bit harder but luckely you don't need to use a French car.
MetalJetI like the Speed Ring much better. I was at #248 last night. I'm not good with the Speed12, which I know is good for more points, but I used my V8 Vanquish as you can see on the leaderboard. I don't expect that ranking to last long.
On Tokyo, it's a bit cramped to me on Sectors 1 and 3. I love the long sector 2, though! Once I get a French car (905) setup for that track, I should be able to match your 11,000 or get close. We seem to be fairly close in skill. Good to have someone I can compete with on the leaderboards. Most of my friends are drifters, so it's hard on the old ego to look at it all the time!![]()
I used the RenaultSport Clio from the Premium dealership as my learner car for drifting. I've lumped in all the power I can, shortened the gear ratios and I now use it for every drifting event that it qualifies for. You won't get the highest score with it but I have always been able to get gold and I am a poor drifter.
I'm about #350 I think on Speed Ring with my V8.
I just can't get much out of ny Speed 12 in the last sector.
On Tokyo you could try my set-up. Add me as a friend so we can compete and share cars with each other.
