I try to run 50-60 hours a week. Can't manage 24/7 as the ps3 is also our movie machine so i usually grind during the day. I need to get one of those hd media players, that would free up the ps3.
Also, since psn came back, every 3-4 hours either the widget will get stuck at "starting race" or the ps3 gets disconnected "no events found" (but still logged into psn) and have to restart everything. So basically i have to baby sit the grinding. If i leave it alone when i'm out or over night, several hours are wasted with everything being on but no races running so i stopped doing that. Not sure if its my internet, grinder 2.5.2 or gt5 1.10..
Can someone please define this clubs 'frequent grinding' expectations?
Okay, as you said it would be nice to get the members oppinion this matter.
I am personally fine with you being inactive for a week, won't remove you from the 'always use' list before you no longer are a member of this club, is that should happen
May we hear the voice of the rest of the club?
Firestarter check out the first page of this link post what ever u call it that should answer your q
Everyone, you decide your opinion on my position here. I try to race most people, but especially you ch1potle always have just one driver available. I checked my logs after the few races I could have before my PS3 froze and it all went haywire, and you weren't in almost any of them. I can off the top of my head say that I've raced WakeStriker, WhiteRuin, Darth_Fromage, MattZR1, and a few at least two times. (I think).
But about only running la Sarthe, I can't change that. If I ever have the widget up and running, I cannot find the debug window on a Mac. I've asked in yonis' thread, but got no Mac-specific answer. If anyone could tell me here, please inform.
I would define frequent as daily. Not in the rules yet though, so the definition of frequent probably differs among us.
I don't think it's something to make a big deal about, the club members will notice if drivers are not being used etc..
If the drivers are used all the time (or most of the time), I don't see an issue.
Just curious, how many of us are running 24/7?
That's how i see it too..but its nice to hear everyone's opinion. Grinding, just like this club should remain fun rather than turn into a chore for some people who may not be able to do 24/7 or far less than others. Imho, this club is all good. 👍 Cheers!
Seeing how the "view" is on "frequent", I think this group better throw me out considering that I only "grind" up to 4-6 hours a day, it was very much less than that the previous days for me. I can't leave it on during the night, it disconnects every time. I think there are people much more suited to take part in this than me.
Since I'm disabled I find myself watching the races alot and would like to know everyone's thoughts on the la Sarthe race. It has the highest payout but if your bob is up against 15 level 0 bobs and you get the Panoz you're probably not gonna win. Ever. I bring this up cuz my boy is in the Panoz now so I already know the end of this movie lol.
It is really a double edged sword with this track. The best payouts are here, but if you pull the Panoz or Chaparral, you pretty much are guaranteed last place.
The Chaparral isn't actually that bad.
It isn't bad, but going against what is in the grid most of the time, it usually ends up near the back of the pack.
Of course. I was more thinking in terms of putting it into the same sentence as the Panoz. It's a whole lot better in this respect than the Panoz.
