Yeah I see no great future for this either with the Dax situation and all But anyway, i didn't want a car that anyone else had and only had 20 minutes to pick and tune a car.. didn't go very well
And there is 16 drivers signed up for the full season and 2 reserves.. only 3 of those 18 showed up in time and one half an hour late. And then there was me who isn't even signed up... Real weird.
How can all of those fail to show up and fail to announce that they wouldn't make it (ok a couple actually said they wouldn't be there but nowhere near that many.)?
Well, PURE is a huge body with many racers and series. Yet, we still have attendance issues. The FMSC race at Rome was very sad.
Now, ORCA is small when compared to PURE, but the racing is always brilliant. Very clean and respectful, battles are epic.
Now the series with the closest racing and battles from P1 to P16 last the longest. Every time.
If you look at this series we had a major gap from P1 to P4 and I think people just lost hope. Only 3 cars could win every week. And I'm not saying skill is not a factor but (IMHO) 4-5 cars are fast enough for P1 with theses specs. That's it.
I hope we finish the series though, Monaco looked like it would have made the reveres grid interesting with zero passing room.
Well don't know whether the series is alive or not and if a race is happening tonight, but either way won't be home tonight so won't be able to attend. All those practice laps in Monaco that are wasted make me sad now :<
