Round one is this Friday at 8PM BST so get developing the cars!

Would be interested in joining if there's still space left :)
Is there any information on the season schedule, or is it a weekly event (sorry if missed this info on the main page, can't find it).

It will be a weekly event. But there might be a mid season break to split up the season a bit.

Cars must have a maximum of 197BHP.

Cars must have a minimum weight of 1300KG.

Cars must have a PP limit of 410pp.

Specs changed slightly. ^

I'm going to have a look tonight to see what I've got to make into a pocket rocket!

If we're not going to have a test together, how about we all decide on a track (and track settings, i.e. grip reduction) and test individually and discuss lap times? That way we can at least see how competitive our chosen car is going to be and might also help make for some closer racing. What do you think?

If people want to share their cars, they can set up testing lounges. I want to keep my cars identity a secret for now.

I'm not saying to give away the car, just lap times. If somebody is able to run a lap at 1.30.500 and somebody in a car which they think is really fast but can only do a 1.36.000, it's not going to be very exciting racing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to this - it was just a thought I had.

Yeah I will do some lap times now.

But, it could be that someone is quite a bit faster thus why the lap times are better so I wouldn't read too much into the lap times.

Cool, thanks for the info. Would suit me, so definitely interested if there are spaces :)

Yeah I'm sure there will be spaces left.

Yeh, good point about the pace of the driver but it would at least give a rough indication as to how fast the laps were going to be.

I'v been testing at deep forest.
Well, IIRC, My car at 200HP / 410 PP heavier than 1300KG's was running 1:25s laps with a good 0.5 left on the track.

Cheers carracerptp. I'll test a few cars tonight and if I settle on one I'll post here how I get on.

Point 1: I'm in this week for the laughs.
Point 2: This ain't gonna work in the long run...

Anyway not to find a low HP deathblender...

410 pp? Thats barely a 200hp 1300kg Merc 300SL....

^car, I don't see that happening, I see this as more of a roadshow...

Drop PP. No-one will do a thing with that.

Yeah I've also done testing and feel that the pp is good.
Your just got to work to the regulations.

I may have a test lounge up later, there's a couple of cars I want to try out. Add me with GTP FNCC in the subject :-) Think I've already got a few of you.

I may ban MR cars. NSX is ridiculously stable.

Edit:

No 4WD, MR or RR allowed
