Since my connection goes bonkers with anymore than 14, I've set the room to 14 with the following cars,

4 Ferrari 488
2 Audi R8
2 Lambo Huracan
2 McLaren Mp4 12C
2 Merc AMG
2 Nissan GT-R

I put double the 488's since it's new and lots will want to drive it. Yes, I left out the Z4 for a reason.

Still looking like it's gonna be 9:00 before I can get on.

that Oreca... is there a good way to stop the oversteer instability on brake/corner entry maneuver? Any help would be appreciated!

Or just a base tune that someone has that seems "smart" as a starting point for most tracks. Thanks

When the Oreca mod was first released, we raced it at Spa. Let's do it again! OP updated.

Default tune seemed pretty good to me Ex. This car doesn't have ABS so maybe just brake easier/earlier?

spa sounds good. Well, I've been driving other cars with no ABS, but this one seems to not lock, but dive and bite on the front end very hard and then bring the front around. I'll try more careful inputs...

even with careful inputs (i've b een driving some pretty beasty cars in AC lately, so I should be acclimated...) it is still very unruly... anyone have a tune? slight bumps make it spin, and very little time to react to know its about to go and back off... no chance. Please help!

That's bizarre, I did about a dozen laps with it around Spa tonight in stock trim and never spun it once or noticed any unruly behavior. I was even taking Eau Rouge and Blanchemont flat. I'm sure I wasn't pushing it as hard as you guys can but I found it to be planted and fairly compliant.

it has a weird behavior (not unheard of, mind you) of coming loose on the lift of of brakes in higher speed corners. And also comes around on me on the final chicane almost every time... yes I'm pushing it hard b ut I figured there's like one setting Icould change that would tame that behavior ?

I did try stiffening the front suspension, to no avail. I'm not complaining I just want to be able to run smoothly beside the rest of you.. .that's all.

Have you tried messing with the differential settings?

I've had a crazy week so I haven't had a chance to run any more laps or try to tune the car. Sorry Ex. Hopefully Brindle shows up tonight and can provide a good tune.

there is only pre-load, not sure what to do with it. I guess, mess with it? :)
Try lowering the rear dampers a bit and set the brakes bias more to the front and that should already help. I've noticed this car doesn't like the inside curbs too much :D

I like it though, steering feels a bit too light for my taste but fun nonetheless.

Something weird going on here with the server. I can only see it in LAN mode which is unusual. Can anyone else see it & join?

My best was a mid 2:16 I believe.....either I'm doing something wrong or I'm way worse than I thought. :indiff: Granted, I've not driven high downforce cars a lot so I'm not very good with them, but I'm not usually that rubbish.

If it's any comfort my best was a 2:15 i believe ;)
