Friend didn't get confirmation email after registering for national final

Hi all! This is a separate issue now. A friend of mine also entered the GT Academy and got in the top 20 but he didn't receive a confirmation email after he registered so can anyone clarify this? Before anyone says why didn't he post, he doesn't have a PC around handy
