Friend gets disconnected every time

Hope someone can help, I play a different game online with a friend of mine living in Saudi Arabia (no this isn't a joke), but when it comes to GT5 it's an epic fail. He gets disconnected every time he joins my room without even getting in the room properly and he gets disconnected from his own room in the same way.

Is there something he's not doing that he should be or is it just his Saudi internetz??

This happens with me; only when we actually start the race. It could be with a friend who lives 5 miles away, and practice mode is fine, but at some random point in the race itself one of us (mainly me) will get disconnected. Which is quite annoying.

I had this problem . To fix this go to your router settings, and enable DMZ or UPnP .
