Friend request from website

I was just wondering if it is possible to make a friend request from your online profile web page? If it is, I can't seem to find the option.

If you're talking about the gran-turismo.com site;
I've never seen it. You can only look at profile's of people who are already friends so you can't even PM non-friends.
