Don't know Plux... I generally race in tonnes of things now(WEC, STCC, ToCA and most likely WSC) so my weekends can be pretty busy but I'll see what I can do.

It will probably run on the weekends that there isn't WEC, probably taking that slot on the off weekends. Will talk to the CORE boys about time slots and all that.

To keep this on topic, I'll take this to PM - anyone interested PM me and we'll talk there.

Hoping that the car specs get sorted for you guys in TOCA, all these glitches have seemed to cause havoc this season but it looks there has been some good driving anyway

Please try to make sure you don't run it on a Sunday from 7PM mate?

Definitely won't be, I hoping the summer season of WSC fits with my break so I get back out in the XJ13 CL! Missed driving that crazy machine

Furi had a practice room up a couple of nights ago, though I don't remember the laptimes very well. If I remember right, I could do a 1:32.1 in the Focus and a 1:31.8 with the new Civic spec.

I sincerely hope you didn't remember correctly. I'm nowhere near those times. More like 2 seconds off.

I may be a second off, I'm not sure. The times were also for a perfect lap, so a normal lap would be slower.

I'm in the 34s for this one, hoping for another decent haul of points, and maybe but very unlikely...a podium in this car which nobody wants to use.

@Pluxtheduck, even though my participation in lots of series is under jeopardy, would I still be welcome to race despite my high opinion of myself? ;)

Well this looks like it'll be a good Saturday once again.. A good 3 seconds off that pace at least!

As Furi has mentioned, Joe's times are off by 2 seconds, so that means you're only about one second off...

You're acting like it's unusual for you to be a second off.

Indeed, that's because this should be a track the Renault is better at (there's no other tracks really that the Renault can benefit from - other than Willow Springs)..

This season for me is now just about damage limitation. Setting myself a goal of 8th.

8th? I'd be glad if I could crack the top 10.

ToCA11 - Return Of The Legend.

ToCA10 may be halfway through, but already for some ToCA11 is the only thing on people's minds. Especially Mazda who are rejoining the championship after a 1 season hiatus with a new itineration of the legendary Atenza - the Mazdaspeed. The larger chunkier bodyshape is perhaps a sign of the direction the series is heading - larger more powerful cars. The car certainly has no shortage of power - 360+hp from a turbocharged 2.3 litre, 4 cylinder block. The original car is 4WD, but power is converted to RWD via a forced torque distribution sensor. Mazda are no stranger to 4WD, There very first success was the Atenza TC developed by Mazdaspeed in ToCA1 and ToCA2.

Mazda have been testing at Bathurst, and have understood to be considering lodging an invitation to ToCA to compete in the Inaugaural ToCA 200 at Bathurst in 4 weeks time. Bathurst is also understood to be replacing Willow Springs on the ToCA11 Calendar, which will result in the track having two dates for the regular races and the ToCA 200. It's also understood for ToCA11, that 9 manufacturers are confirmed on the grid with potential for a 10th entrant.

So glad its back! Furi will I be able to drive it at the Bathurst 200 then? I'm going to have to get used to the RWD set-up though :boggled:

Actual car is 4WD but its locked to rear wheels a la Landie. I'll consider :) - after all i'm not done ;)

That two wheel action isn't as exiting as my Renault underwent the other day at Nurburgring!
