Appreciated that in Race 1 👍

I told Spurgy to hold them off as you are going for championship, which helped me as well (I started 15th after late set up change so needed to cut through pack) ... best overtake I did was my R1 L1 dummy at les Combes on @AudiMan2011 I think.

Had good fun yesterday, was a bit clumsy in some of my overtakes where I haven't raced for a while, so sorry to anyone I hit into. :)

Race 1 I got a good start, managed to hold onto 2nd without losing out to the Hyundais, and then had a run on Mole coming out of Eau Rouge but decided to sit behind because he's obviously fighting in the championship. Also meant that I could hold everyone else up for the first lap or two to help Furi try and make a few places up. After about 2 laps though Skeng got into 3rd and seemed to be struggling, which kept the field bunched up and meant I didn't need to hold them up anymore, so I left them. At this point Mole was about 4-5 seconds up the road, so I just brought the car home in 2nd.

Race 2 I had a horrible start because for some reason I was preparing for the lights countdown, instead of the 3,2,1 countdown and lost a couple of seconds by the time I noticed  Then had trouble getting through the field after being knocked about a bit on the first lap by Snow :p By the time I finally did get through (on about lap 5) Mole was already about 5-6 seconds up the road, so again there was no point in trying to catch him, and I just brought in home in 2nd.

Final race I had a good start, managed to stay ahead of Mole and on the run down to Eau Rouge was pretty much past Yera. But going into Eau Rouge, I turned in expecting Yera to back out (his front bumper was in line with my rear, so there was no way he could stay alongside through Eau Rouge) but he didn't, which meant I ended up turning left in the middle if Eau Rouge :p Just about managed to keep the car going though and then caught back up to the field, which Mole had already started working his way through. Managed to get through a bit quicker than he could though, so by lap 5/6 I was right behind him with only Orama infront. Tried for about a lap to get past but couldn't quite find a way through, and then I made a small mistake (I think in Pouhon) which dropped me back about a second. Mole then started battling again with Orama which meant I caught them again by bus stop where Mole went up the inside of Orama, which sent him a little wide trying to hold onto the place. That meant he also went wide into the 2nd part of bus stop, and I could cut back underneath him. That gave me a lap (or two) to pass Mole, but despite being all over the back of him, and a little faster on worn tyres, just couldn't find a way past, almost had him at bus stop on the last lap, but he just managed to stay ahead. :)

I'm sorry for that, but as you moved away from my car to get a better line for the aproach to Eau Rouge, I lost sight of your car and with the rate you were gaining on me on the descent I thought you were already past me, which is why I didn't lift as I thought that would give me a chance to try and get alongside you on the straight...

Actually the same thing happened to me with Furi on R2 (I was also ahead of him, only this time on the outside), and I thought he would back out because at that speed and on that line even if I did back out he would never have cleared that corner legally, given he wasn't on the proper racing line. Also on our second incident there, in an attempt to avoid a repeat, we both were lifting on the descent, so we pretty much kept our relative positions unchanged (although I still don't know why he kept swerving during that descent)...

Yera, when you rejoined the track from La Source I got some damage and was countersteering all way down to bottom Eau Rouge, then it fixed itself...

I thought that too from my POV on the replay but from your POV it didn't show any damage on the HUD...

I bloody felt it  - that's my twitching, countersteering on the pad.

Yeah, I get it now... it was caused by my snap oversteer on La Source exit (caused by the kerb, not from going off-track)

Also, you mentioned two incidents between @snowgt and me, yet I only remember one (lag-related on L1 at bus stop), where he was on the outside mid chicane then suddenly he was hitting the tyre barrier by the pit entrance... I even went slower on the second part to leave him room, when that happened...

When you lag wrecked DK top of Eau Rouge Snow got collected  :ouch:

Great racing. Got my first top ten :D

Oh... ok... :ouch:

Strange that those situations only happened in R3...
Yera, my apologies for what probably looked like a brake check in race 3, I think it was, maybe it was 1- I was actually trying to yield. :boggled::indiff:

I think I also got caught in that incident as well.

That, and if ILOSE says I'm a noob coward, I must drive like a noob coward! :p

Spurgy, a tip for you, if you had driven the Renault.. You'd have had no problem winning at all ;)

Actually he wouldn't have had a chance ;)

It isn't. It's drivers are. You are just going on the bandwagon. As usual.

Top Idea:

Best drivers in the slowest and worst car.

You said he wouldn't have had a chance in a Reno, Spurgy doesn't lose skill changing cars, so you're acknowledging the fact your cars are uneven.

Also, I'd love to know how you arrived at the conclusion that I usually jump on to bandwagons.

I'll quote @Spurgy 777 :

"Car not OP, just we have best set up".

We have best set up and drivers. A Hyundai driver agrees with me as well, and I know other people do as well.

Remember if you can't get your own package to work, blame everyone else!

I didn't know you test everyone else's setups as well as your own teams.

Great response.

Just a note Furi, I'm not being serious. I'm just messing...
Although the Volvo is bloody fast... I might have a hard time even keeping up with Furi ;)

Nurb is RWD playground, we just kill tyres :scared:

Wasn't too bad actually. Last 2/3 laps is where it got tricky when I did a race run.

Worse for pad users I think. You've been much better on tyres than me.

Well I made @gokartman78 2 seconds a lap quicker with a simple spring tweak last night... also I've gone through a lot of set ups with this thing.

Let's face it, the majority complaining is not because of @Ninners, @Andil or @Spurgy 777 , it's because I am actually doing well for once.
