Same here :) I use it when I can't be arsed to practice. I can get closer to the pace quicker on the DS3 than wheel, but wheel is more fun (with practice) :3

Wheel would never work for me. I have very little space for it, and absolutely no room for pedals.

Tell me about it. I could barely drive a FWD car with 200hp when I first got mine because the force feedback was too strong but got used to it soon :)

Neither until earlier this year. Bought myself a desk and a monitor :)

Yep! That and I've been racing with a controller for 10+ years. Despite racing a kart for a number if years the transition wasnt as smooth as I thought. I have to concentrate more on other things at the moment like how much lock to use and gas, which is second nature with a DS3
 
'11 DS3 is falling apart slowly. Buttons sometimes press themselves, especially on FIFA (most annoying thing to happen in a football game). Luckly on GT6 nothing has ever happened.
 
When I first started I always used the sequential which was easy with a 200hp FWD or this to be precise:

But as I started to move into more powerful cars I started using the paddles more.

It's the intended function, but they made them so hard to actually use. I used AT at the time, so it never bothered me until last year.

That thing looks more plasticy (is that a word) than the DFGT doesn't fill me with much longevity confidence.:nervous:
 
I think the plug is broke for my DFGT, I dropped it once and the plastic around the top pin collapsed inwards.
 
i only have 1/3rd of original travel on my brake now cos the teeth snapped off the cog on the end of the pedal :indiff:

My throttle flickers, I just wait until it gets too bad and then clean out all the dust and hair etc that gets inside the pedals. That usually sorts it for about a month before the throttle starts flickering again. :rolleyes:
