I have absolutely no motivation to run at the back of the field, several seconds a lap off certain cars, and then probably to get nailed off.

In all honestly I don't see why you're acting like this. This series is fun no matter what car you are in. In T10 I may have had a terrible car with a very slim chance of even a podium yet I really enjoyed it because the racing is very close 👍

Brands had some very nice racing too.

T11 I couldn't get out of top 12 most weekends yet I stuck with it...
 
Even though there's fast guys in Q1 like Andil, GTracer98 and Michelin, I'll be giving it 150% of my best tonight.

I only go a 1:19'0, mate. ;) The Alfa isn't that great it seems, I can't find a good setup either.
 
Of course I'm running tonight, I just get no fun out of it sometimes.
 
Just did a quick test offline so I could get the hang of my Genesis again and turned a 1:17.7. Not as fast as the top guys, but I think it was a nice lap.

It's never an aim; I have nowhere near the skill needed to be competitive in ToCA. I've finally understood that.

What are you talking about!? If you had a competitive car you would be right up there with Ninners! Don't you know that you are going to be a GT Academy shoe-in in a few years!? You are much better than you think! I on the other hand, have my work cut out for me. I've gotten significantly faster this year, but I'm still not quite at your level. I need to get faster, faster. The good news is that my learning/improvement curve is already quite steep, but I can't be playing Gran Turismo like it's a game anymore.
