Think I have the Citroen as sorted as its going to get. I can see me in the midfield all season.

It's the second one :dopey: does Vettel have #5 this year then?

He does, for a similar reason:

5. Sebastian Vettel
“[The] first time I won the championship in Formula One I had number five on the car. Generally I think number five was very successful in Formula One: Nigel won the championship, Michael won the championship qith number five. And I have a very good memory to number five on my go-kart, I had a very good season back in 2001 with a lot of wins.”

Forgive me guys but my ISP has been pretty idiotic lately so my connection works during the day (when ofc it's useless ) and then after 7 pm it's utterly shait..... i'm hoping to solve this as fast as i can. Uuu a 'wild' Ferrari appear

@FlyingFox is pretty good with helping with connection issues. Since I used his guide thing I've only DC'd 5 times

Right I have rather messed up the calendar. I forgot V8's still have 2 weeks left. Revised calendar will be up later on.

For remaining test sessions we're going to use the "Grid Start With False Start Check".

I'm fairly happy with how pre-season is going. From a personal FAS-oriented standpoint, the Citroen has been a little bit of a challenge to set up with its odd weight distribution, but finally i've started to find some pace in the car. BoP wise I am happy as well. @Spurgy 777 mentioned Audi's lack of pace on straights. The Audi however has less tyre wear drop off and also is easier to drive, so can be driven on the limit more or less the whole race, which will bring it back in line with the fast starting FFs.

Only thing that disappoints me is the lack of Mazda love... really guys? It didn't last 7 seasons straight on GT5 because it was rubbish.

hsv
The Honda is only just as fast as it if the Audi gets a better exit. It's a car I'm looking out for.

Citroen lacks acceleration and understeers on exit but is wonderful under brakes and corner entry. Enjoyed dicing with you Civics at RBR and Silverstone.

The Civic is still wishy-washy for me. I know it can be much faster than what I've laid down the past couple of weeks, but the perfect feel remains elusive. :indiff:

At Nurb when I went half a second quicker after the BHP cut.

Yeah well that was just a perfect lap.

Bookmakers have slashed their odds on you winning the title :p

Feel like the Audi needs more power but more weight. I was rapid through the 2,3,4 section of RBR compared to @hsv but then he would run away down the straights. The cars were even over a one lap pace but I feel in racing conditions on tracks that are mainly straights Audi drivers will have to result to d-bombs and heavy defending :irked:

When I did testing with the cars in their previous specs at Silverstone National a few weeks ago, I have the fastest laps done in the Audi, Honda and Renault, but I was getting some consistent fast laps in the Renault. With the revised spec, it'll warrant a second go-round to see if I can whittle the field down for my ToCA the 13th car choice.

Renault's a solid choice. I wanted it over the Audi but @Ninners and @Andil are noobs and can't drive it.

I assume Media day will be March 7th/14th after furi corrects them?

I dunno really. I've never actually driven it before (Andil told me it wasn't that good so I didn't bother testing it).
