You know, I miss the GT5 days of ToCA where I was halfway decent and could contend for a Q spot. In GT6, I can't get anywhere close to that... I know one thing, Brands + Me don't match.

My first try at installing in game was at 40% before crashing and now I wont even get off 0% without freezing(twice now)?!

Update keeps on freezing at the point everytime I try...

Haven't had any issue installing updates on this game until now :mad:
 
Was really looking forward to racing again but I guess that'll have to wait... Not gonna bother trying anymore when I've already been trying for 40 🤬 minutes!


My main question is whether my update will ever manage to install.

Try deleting everything and installing from scratch, like you just bought the game. 50% it might work.

Will probably try again tomorrow and if it doesn't work I'll consider doing that... I've never had any issues like this before so it's a real bummer. I did all the usual things I would do (clean disc, reset router etc) but it didn't change anything.

The first attempt at downloading was fine before it crashed at 45% and since then the bar hadn't even moved before my game crashes (about a minute after starting).

This happened with me on GTA V with update 1.13 or 1.14 and the only way I was able to update was deleting everything and re-downloading it from scratch, that's why I think it might work on GT6, not so sure.

Well, that was more depressing than Glen Hansard. To cap off this **** sandwich of a race, my HUD didn't work.
