Frustrated online racer needs help...

For some reason, whenever I attempt to race online, the countdown gets stuck at 17 seconds, there's no countdown upon race start, and when I finish the race, it just goes to a random section of the track, displays the map, and the time limit reads "00:00". Anyone know how to fix this? I can't do a single online race now without this happening.

First clear network cache in options menu, its quick and easy fix. For bugs and graphical gliches you have to reinstall the game .. takes for ever tbh :/
