Hey, can i just ask why Scion has a car so similar? I know Subi worked with Toyota with the 86, engine i think, but what involvement did Scion have? Thanks.

Scion is a Toyota sub-brand for the US, basically a niche brand with the aim to attract younger customers.
Just like Lexus is a luxury Toyota sub-brand.

Great little car :) My local league (Australia +10gmt) is probably running this as the car for our next race series. It was a toss up between this or an MX5 :p

We are a bit over RM cars ;)

Not gonna lie just got done playing with one and doing a little tuning with it and I can say for the first time there is a Scion I would go out of my way to get.

This car is a giant killer. Few in the 400 PP range can keep up. I can't wait to see it race professionally.

I love the 86GT in the game and all of the concepts. 👍

IRL, I've had my eye on a Hyundai Genesis Coupe, but when the 86GT came to GT5 and I found that it would be released in the US as a Scion, I now find that I will be test driving both soon enough.

Preliminary reports show that the Genesis is more powerful, but the Scion might be the better handling car. I expect Road and Track or Motor Trend will do a nice comparison soon enough. Looks-wise, I'm still leaning towards the Genesis, as the nose of the FR-S is a little gangly-looking.

This Scion is a direct response to the Genesis Coupe.

The genesis has alot more horsepower but the frs has better tuned supension and it is more built to be modified
