"FTW", what does it mean?

Can someone clarify what "FTW" means. I see you guys use it alot and I dont know what it means. I used to think it mean "**** the what" but after much thinking i figured that it wasnt what it meant. Can some one help me

It's commonly used as an endorsement or to signify a personal preference of some description... e.g. a GT fanboy might say Gran Turismo FTW! etc.

Even when I knew what it meant I couldn't help but think that. I'm sure you can put two and two together but FTL, of course, means For The Lose.

It's actually astonishing how often IMO gets used. It stands for "International Maternity Organization". Often you'll see an IMO billboard of a pregnant mother with derogatory graffiti that says "FTW".
