Just filled up again on my way home. $2.15/gal this time but this was a regular gas station, the one I filled up at last time was a Meijer station.

Heard prices dipped just below $2/gal in your area. This true?

Not quite that low around here, at least that I have seen. Still at $2.05-$2.15 depending on the station and the village. Further north is below $2 I know, that's where my dad fills up since he works there.

Paid $2.69.9 for a gallon of premium at Chevron in Olympia, Washington on Saturday January 3rd. It was the first fill up since December 7th, 2014.

It's down to $1.87 here.

I think it may be getting to the bottom unfortunately as it seems like longer and longer periods in between price drops.

$2.03-2.09/gal for 87 octane (regular) 👍
Premium is still over $3/gal.

Weird the huge price gap to premium. Down here the gap is less than 15 cents.

Down to $1.85/gal here. I think premium is $1.99-ish.

The apocalypse is near, gas is now $1.99/gal for 87 octane (regular). And about the large price gap between regular and premium, I don't see many cars in this area that require premium fuel, so the fuel is more than likely from when oil cost much more than US $40/barrel.

Gas was at $2.06 the other day then it suddenly jumped up to $2.29. I first noticed the increase at the Shell near where I work, and as I drove home BP was also at $2.29, but at the Shell nearer home it was still at $2.06 so I quickly topped off the tank before it jumped up again.

Gas dropped to $1.95 here on Thursday. Passed the same gas station on Friday and it was $2.19.

I filled up on regular gas a couple of days ago at $2.11 and premium at $2.31. Those are the cheapest prices around here.

I have a feeling we're nearing the bottom of the gas price drop.

Diesel went under $3.00 yesterday but now is back over to $3.01
Gas is $2.19

Regular dropped to $1.77 here over night. Diesel is around $2.50 I believe.

Diesel is now $2.75 and gas went to $1.93 (this is in Alabama).

Taken a few minutes ago at the station I usually fill up at. Went down 12 cents overnight it seems...

$1.75 here.

Meanwhile, one of the US oil giants just fired 9,000 people.

Yep. My dad said this was going to happen. (He is a steel pipe salesman and most of the business is related to the oil industry)

$1.69/gal for regular unleaded as of this morning.

Regular 87 is $2.70 here.

I hate New York.

Cheapest in my area (south of Boston) is $1.99.

Just filled up the TDI today.

Diesel - $2.89
Regular - $2.29

Crazy to see almost a full $1.00 drop since mid November.

Filled up the GTi this morning, $1.81/gal for premium.

I know I'm not supposed to butt in here but you guys still pay a third what we pay, and four weex ago we were paying four times what you pay.
Try to imagine your gas at $10.80/gal and then you'll be in my world.
It's been like that in the UK for a couple of years.

Excuse me while I butt back out.

:irked:👍

It is around $1.80 per gallon in Michigan for regular. Premium is about $2.00. Loving it but I am sure it will be short lived. Most likely will be shooting back up again by the end of this year.

When everything you own is gas guzzlers and can't afford anything else because it's fluctuates so much...

So on my way home tonight I was surprised to see that the station I always fill up at went from $1.67/gal to $1.79 for some reason. The station across the street was still at $1.67. Going back up now?

Looks like it. We went from $1.73 to $1.79. Probably back at $2.50 by mid March.
