I was wondering if now that PD change the tires compound strategy I thought why it is not possible to make my own race strategy where I can decide how much Gas I wanna have for a 40 to 60 Laps.

I mean why PD thinks that I wanna start with full tank when maybe I wanna start with only half tank in order to be able to open a gap between me and the others racers, maybe I wanna Pit more but at the end it will be my own strategy right.

But so far I haven´t seen this option nor in practice neither in full races. I just think this will be a cool point that could be part in the near future in the next game update. let´s say 2.03 💡💡💡💡

Anyway keep running.

Well I think that almost all Nascar races, all cars start with a full tank of gas.Makes sense so yo can calculate fuel mileage during the race.If you want run your tank to half and take no gas when you pit:sly:

Has it been shown that less fuel actually makes the car lighter? I never recalled seeing that, and if it did, I would imagine PD would make more of an effort to identify that detail, either through a "starting fuel" setting or by not defaulting gas to top off on each pitstop.

Either way, you could still do some fuel mileage strategy with drafting and the like if the race is long enough. Drafting would allow you to use less fuel to go as fast as the person in front of you, so you could potentially be able to get out of the pits faster than a person in front of you.

I really hope they can manage to put this in the next update as it should make the game even more realistic. It seems pointless for most events to start with a full fuel load if you are doing less than 10 laps. It can come in handy for the smaller endurance races especially the grand valley 300 where it should be easy to do a one stop strategy.

Exactly this is my point. Why we need to have a full tank if the Lobby host or myself change the track setting and make the race shorter. for a 10 15 laps race, U don´t need a full tank, the same goes for practice.

Keep running.

Yeah man, it does widen the strategy of how to go throughout the race with the view to beat other opponents taking various factors(Including happenings unexpected or unwelcomed)into consideration, it surely would reflect the importance of not only the value of drivers(how they're appreciable)but also the cleverness of our race manuever conducted by the mind.

I know it is in the FGT series. Although my Bob ran out of gas on the 30th and final lap at the last chicane at Suzuka. He tried to pit on the last lap, but seeing that as a pretty lame move and a sure fire loss, which it would have been, I tried staying out. It was entertaining at least. Lost by a second or less. Seems like the new tire wear model has some B-Spec implications.
