It’s closed now, I took a break for a bit before race time. I’ll pop it back up now until @Drex124 open the race lobby.

Yeah we should definitely have a party, I'm sure someone will have one up, if not I'll put one up myself.

That was fun. Thanks for hosting, @Drex124.

I'd just like to say, my race engineer came up with the wrong strategy, my chief mechanic didn't set the car up properly, and a bird flew into my air intake on lap 32.

Caps off a great day of racing for me, and that was a great 4-way battle at the start by the way @Pigems @El_Beardo @Drex124.

Well, it was a race. If I hadn't had a nasty spin while fighting with DudeTuna, I might have been able to stay in the action, but a spectacular spin it was and a lonely race most of the way.

Still, always nice to hang with the boys, and I had fun trying to scare the crap out of GOTMAXPOWER by defending while being blue flagged.

Thank you @Drex124 , fantastic race. I am having trouble keeping the focus for 90 minutes when mostly running alone, but as soon as someone came lapping me I could keep my pace for a number of laps.
Really enjoyed this so very much!

And thanks to @MaxAttack for coming with such short notice!

Complained a lot but honestly enjoyed it, I'm glad you dragged me out.

I'm just modelling myself after British racing hero Lewis Hamilton by complaining my way thru every stint.

It was a really nice race, thanks everybody and thanks Drex124 especially. Regarding the Sauber, I definetly miscalculated the fuel consumption re the race lenght and got a bit out of shape for a while after realizing I had to fuel save all of a sudden. Ah well. Vulcans and MAX race pace was too fast for me, but very happy to end up on the podium and not to spin with the Sauber in 2nd gear.

    >>I also made a few photos of the race and posted them on my GT profile. Here are some:

Cracking race, so I'd thought I'd a few more pictures, especially from that early battle at the start.

Closest I'll ever get to being on pace with @GOTMAXPOWER  (Great move by the way, nice livery too)

    That was fun!

All of the Porsche's struggled a bit in qualifying but once the race started it was perfect, some of the cars looked a bit of an handful and burnt through their tyres, the 962 is pretty easy to drive even in 2nd gear. Here are the first 2 and a bit laps, the rest of the first stint was a really nice battle with @R_Goldstreiff and @VulcanSpirit :

@Drex124 Thanks for putting this event together, will definitely be there for the next one.

Here is the link to the livery, CFP93 has a tonne of other Gr.C replicas on their profile too: https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gts...lery/all/livery/5454570/1/8503373424396075048

    @R_Goldstreiff @Michelin Man @Pigems @RacingGrandpa I love the photos :cheers:
