Man I want a pair of those badly! It'd be fun, but without brakes, its just another way of killing yourself.....Maybe they should rethink the ''braking'' part, your going 25mph with now way to stop? Sounds incredibly safe.👍

I knew a guy who put nitrous oxide on one of those little motorized scooters. Not a midget motorcycle, but one of those little stand-on scooters with a motor. It would do about 45 mph on the juice.

If you know how to rollerblade, brakes will only make it more dangerous.
 
actually, thats true. the general way of stopping on rollerblades is to hop into someone;s yard. if you were to put your foot down you would wear that plastic thing down in about 3 stoppes
 
I've been around 20mph ish on my inlines, It just isnt sane. I'm sure going downhill in traffic is diffrent then an empty smooth parking lot, but you would need to be a loony to go full speed. I cant imagine how weird it would be with a big engine hanging on your leg, pretty akward if you ask me. But, I have to say If I had $700 to blow (and some pads) I would have to give it a go..

I was looking at the link that that site provided, and I thought to myself, the future will be uch greater than I thought. Some inventions look just pointless (Hello Kitty speakers?? :odd: wtf?) but many look years ahead of our time. I didn't even think we had the technology for a holographic projector phone (a la Star Wars and Paycheck) but there is already one in the works, that is no longer on the drawing board! Some other notables whould be the new TV that is backlit by LED's and the bendable TV screen thing. One of them that I really want is that crazy circualr printer. :odd:

That's stupid as ****. With only one motor on one leg like that, it means one leg would be trying to shoot foward while the other remains still.

Why not take it a step further? Lets build a big motor, give it two handles, and let it push you up to 25mph.
