yep, great film. An animated WW2 film about the firebombings effect on Japan.



It manages to kill off all the main charecters without ever seeming like a violent anime matrix style film. Deeply depressing.

Not sure it is actually, Saving Private Ryan is excellent but so is Grave of the Fireflies, some would say GOTF is better, I myself think they are both good.

Some days I prefer GOTF somedays SPR, it depends.
