Which is bad why ?
 
Because we've all seen it before and it's only funny the first time we see it. I;m not going to start looking at people's avatars just because they use one of those. I've seen it, I laughed, and I don't need to keep seeing it all over the place.

Absolute own.

I look at avatars all the time to recognize posts, rather than names. Thus I see avatars all the time.

Thus, you = fail, Minicooper.
 
I tried to make a gif avatar with some of those baby pics but it didn't work. I wasn't going to use it on gtp though, I like my Ferrari. :)

You'll laugh at an avatar once. If you laugh more you have bad memory. With a car (not to mention it's a picture you've never seen anywhere but under my name) you can drool at it every time you see it. How funny do you think you are when you crop these out of funny pics and size them down? At least I took the picture myself and photoshopped it to make it (and I'll admit it's not that great, but I'm planning to change it sooner or later).

Not really. It's possible to find something amusing more than once. I don't burst into spontaneous laughter again, but it still makes me smile.
 
Alright, but if I wanted to see it again I would come here.
Why don't people want to put something they made into their avatar?
